~Ethans POV~
As I lay in bed, I watch youtube. I usually fall asleep to youtube since I can never sleep in pure silence. Its discomforting. Soon enough, I drifted off to sleep watching Hoodie Panda.
~Dream Sequence~
I was walking down my street to go the the coffee shop nearby and meet G there. We didn't usually go out for coffee, but it seems like something he and I would need after whats been happening the past month or two. With G moving into his new apartment and me trying to get all my bills in line, life was just getting more and more stressful. I walk into the small shop on the corner of my street, and take a seat in the corner. Small things seem unusual, but I never enter this store so I don't question it. I stare at the entrance, waiting for G's arrival. It took 20 minutes before someone entered, and at that point I'd been staring at my phone for a while, checking the time. 10:25am to 10:40am to 10:50am. I look up at the entrance. I was met with the most shocking sight there could be at the moment. I saw him there. Mark, as perfect as I remember him, walked right in and went straight to the counter and bro-hugged the dude at the desk. As they were chatting and laughing, Mark didn't seem as happy. He looked down with a half-smile-half-frown on his face and then looked up. We made eye contact for at least 0.9 seconds before I looked at my phone. I overheard their conversation from then on.
"The usual, bro?" The due asked.
"Make it a double, I got problems." Mark replied, chuckling half-heartedly.
"Need to talk?" The dude asked.
"Nah, thanks." Mark answered, bro-hugging him. He walked over to the table at the other corner, specifically for two people. I didn't understand why since there were completely open one-seaters..
I continued to stare at my phone, when G ran towards the table and sat down abruptly.
"Hey, sorry I was late man, landlord stuff!" G said frantically, panting.
"Yo dude, chill. It's our day to relax, take it easy." I said.
"You're right, you're right.." G replied. I glanced over G's shoulder hesitantly, and see Mark in all his glory. He had Two small pumpkin spice lattes and two doughnuts. Damn, he really meant it when he said to make it a double.
G gets my attention, and we start talking about new games coming out and what games G should play when he fully moves in.
"You should play cuphead dude, if you wanna fuckin die." I said, chuckling.
"Sounds promising. you should play Just A Normal Lost Phone, you'd love it." G suggested.
"Is it like Sarah Is Missing?" I asked.
"well, sort of, but not at all cryptic." He explained
"Awesome," I said, smiling. I took a sip of my coffee and saw Mark, peering over at me. I choked up on my coffee and got some spillage on my face.
"I GOT COOFEE ON MAH FACE!" I quietly screamed.
"Coofee?!" G repeated, laughing.
"Don't question my engligh!" I said, stifling all the laughs I had.
"aaahh stop." G said, wiping tears from his eyes.
Soon, G and I finished our coffees and decided to head out. As we were throwing our trash out, G noticed that we didn't leave a tip, so he wanted to give one. We usually never did this, but G was so insistent.
"Hey Jay, here's your tip." G said to the cashier.
"You didn't have to dude." Jay replied.
Without warning, Mark slammed 5$ on the counter and left the shop.
