I do not own Avatar the Last Airbender
The man groaned and opened his eyes and looked at Aang surprised and confused, "Father?"
The man in the airnomad clothing passed out again. Katara and Aang looked at each other. Katara with her eyebrows raised, Aang however just shrugged his shoulders.
"Well that was unexpected, why didn't you tell us you had a kid Aang?" Toph said sarcastically. "Toph Aang doesn't actually have a kid!" Sokka exclaimed throwing his hands up in the air.
Toph stomped her foot causing Sokka to get knocked off of his feet. "I know Sokka I was being sarcastic.""Well whoever these people are I don't know if we can trust them. I mean the fell out of the sky and one thought I was there dad! Not to mention that there wearing Airbender robes. They could be fire nation spies or something." Aang said while eyeing the strangers closely. "I agree with Aang, I think we should tie them up." Katara states looking around for something to tie them up with.
Sokka looked at Katara, "But if these people are actually firebenders or even airbenders for that matter, would tieing them up do any good?"
Katara looked at her brother then back at the strangers and stated while tieing them up, "Well I guess we will just have to see won't we. "
Page Break
Aang sat in silence, and it's a good thing to because he was trying to meditate. The key word there is trying. Ever since Azula shot Aang down in Ba Sing Se Aang can't go into the Avatar state.
He sighed for about the fourth time since he sat down closing his eyes, and tried to focus again after letting his mind wander to that horrible day. With his new sysmic sense that Toph had not to long ago taught him he could feel a light figure quietly sit next to him. He could practically feel her eyes on him, her beautiful eyes that (when looked into by himself) seemed to stare into his sole. Aang didn't mind though, she almost always seemed to do this when he meditated.
Katara loved to watch Aang meditate. She loved the peaceful silence they shared. She loved watching him do something that was taught to him so long ago. It fascinated her, he fascinated her. But mostly Katara loved to hear his steady breathing, she was so close to loosing him in Ba Sing Se. It scared her more then anything.
And it was this that confused her, why did it scare her so much? Yes he was her best friend but the feeling she got made her want to die with him. She couldn't live without him, she loved him.
Woah did I just say that I loved Aang? I guess that would explain the way I felt when he almost died. But I can't tell Aang that I love him he could get distracted and loose the war! Katara inwardly sighed, I guess I'll just keep this to myself then."Are they awake yet?" Aang asked without opening his eyes. Katara was unsupprised that Aang knew she was here, after all she did this quite frequently. "No but I suspect that they should wake up soon." Finally Aang opened his eyes and looked at her, his face expressionless. "And the pregnant woman?"
Aang thoughtfulness always made Katara smile. Even though he suspected the worst about the group of people currently tied up, he wanted to make sure that the woman was okay.
"I checked her. She's fine just passed out from exaushtion I guess." Aang looked relieved "Good... Katara do... do you think I really am that guys father? I mean Roku once told me that time travel was possible. And if time really is an illusion then it's not impossible... right?" Katara looked at the man whom called Aang father. He did kind of look like Aang, at least his features did. She turned back to Aang who was looking at her expectently and sighed, "I guess it is possible."Now it was Aang's turn to look at the group, well more of stare really. It was like he was analyzing them to see some hidden message. Then he asked the real question that should've been on everyone's mind, "But if they are from the future," he met Katara's eyes. "What are they doing here?"
I am so sorry I forgot to update! Don't worry I would never forget this story. Anyway... rate please!
