The Future and the Past:(ATLA and LOK fanfic)

Now For Future Problems

Korra didn't know what to expect when she found out she was in the past. But watching a 12 year old kid who also happened to be the avatar before her take on what had been the worlds biggest threat for 100 years and then after calmly eat some cabbage soup is not at all it.
Korra had looked up to her past lives and in the past when she needed some help they were always there for her. Since Aang was the avatar before her she usually asked him for the most advice and while she had know from Master Katara that Aang was fun at times she had always thought of him as more of a wise old guru. But, there he was sitting in between Katara and Toph talking about penguin sledding to his future grandkids.

"... so then me and Katara got on the penguins and slid down the steepest snow hill you could imagine!" he was gesturing widely with his hands almost knocking over Tophs soup bowl, thankfully she slide it across the ground with her earthbending just in time. "But then we came upon an old Fire Navy ship and we might have set off some booby traps while inside." he nervously scratched the back of his neck.
"Wait so you mean you went inside the Fire Navy ship!" Tenzin exaimed. I guess he's not used to his father doing reckless things. Even if his father is now a 12 year old boy.
"I mean... well yeah." Aang shrugged.
"You think that's crazy! Please Twinkletoes lied to two tribes of people that were still fighting over something that happened over 100 years ago just so they would stop fighting." Toph said nonchalantly before going back to sipping her soup.
Aang again scrached the back of his neck. "Well we all know if I hadn't had lied we never had made it out of that stupid canyon! Besides all I told them was that the so called "fight" was just between two babies that I knew." Again he shrugged then sipped some of his soup. Tenzin just looked at him as if he was crazy. I wonder if the reason he is so surprised by this is because he got the idea that his father was the perfect monk, man, and Avatar. Maybe that is why Korra thinks she will never be able to live up to his image. Maybe now Tenzin will realize that even though someone may be the most powerful person on Earth it doesn't mean they are not still a person. Maybe now Korra can finally figure out who she is, not who others want her to be. Maybe, just maybe.

Again I apologize for not updating sooner. Honestly I had major writers block and not to mention Avengers Endgame really got to me. But with Spiderman Far From Home coming out soon I finally got some sort of motivation. Also I know that most of these are incredibly short and I'm sorry. I'm just pretty sure I suck at this writing thing. Anyway let me know what you thought about the story so far, though please if you don't like just say so nicely. Thank You.
