Be honest. You've had that one moment that changed your life forever. Just take your time. Think about what happened. You done?
Okay. Now compare it to this. You find out that your sister is actually your mother. Your mother and father are actually your grandparents. And your real father is someone you haven't met until you were 13 years old.
Surprising, right? Well, that's the story of Andi Mack's life. Yes, it actually happened. To this day, she's still affected by this huge change. But, it's getting better. She's making progress. So is everyone else. Life is getting better.
Wish I could say the same about her love life. Jonah finally came and asked Andi out. Everyone's excited about this. Her mom, Bex, and her dad, Bowie. Her friends, Buffy and Cyrus. Andi however, is feeling a rollercoaster of feelings from this.
Well, you're caught up in Andi's life. Time to see where the story takes us.

Andi's POV
I met Jonah, Cyrus, and Buffy at the Spoon. Of course, I sat next to Jonah. "Hey, Jonah." I said, almost a little too girly.Jonah smiled. "Hi, Andi." Both of is kind of just sat there awkwardly. I don't know what else to say.
Finally, I spoke. "Uhh... nice day out."
"Yeah." He said awkwardly.
Buffy made a little scoff. "You two. Find something to talk about. Or else you'll end up being the couple who talks about how nice forks are or whatever."
A girl walked through the door. Kind of had black and brown hair, and she was heading towards us. "Hey, Iris." Cyrus said happily.
"Hey, Cyrus." She sat down next to Cyrus, almost cuddling with him. "How is my sweet boyfriend doing?"
"It all depends on how my amazing girlfriend is doing."
Buffy put her hands in a kind of display motion. "And here we have... Ciris with an I. A couple who actually knows how to talk to each other." She stared me and Jonah down. "Take notes. This is how a couple communicates."
Cyrus was blushing. "Oh, hush. Just because we talk a lot doesn't mean we communicate well."
Iris made a little chuckle while looking at Cyrus. "We text and talk on the phone all the time."
"Oh yeah. I guess we do communicate well."
I looked around. "Where is the service in this place? I feel like someone should've been at our table by now."
Just as I said that, a waitress walked out of the kitchen. "No. Way." Jonah said.
I couldn't believe my eyes. Amber was working here now? Couldn't she have gotten a job more her style? Like a mall kiosk, or a torture chamber?
She walked to our table, and we all stared at her in complete shock. Except Iris. "Hey, Amber."
"Hi, Iris." She said kindly. "Hey, guys. How are you doing?"
"Good." I said a bit meekly.
"That's great. So what can I get you?"
"Basket of baby taters," Buffy started, "3 chocolate milkshakes." She looked at Iris. "What milkshake do you like?"
"Vanilla."
"And two vanilla milkshakes. Did I get the orders right?"
"To a tee." Cyrus said.
"Yes! One point for Buffy!"
Amber wrote down our order and said, "Okay. I'll be back with your orders."
She walked away like a normal person, leaving us in more shock. Cyrus checked his watch. "We just interacted with Amber for 47 seconds, and she didn't say anything demeaning to any of us."
Iris laughed. "You know Amber's not that bad, right? She's just insecure."
Jonah looked confused. "Didn't you say she ripped apart that teddy bear after I broke up with her?"
"I said she wasn't that bad. Not that she didn't have problems."
We all laughed at that joke. A few minutes later, Amber came back, rolling a small cart with our orders. "Here you go. Basket of baby taters, chocolate milkshakes, and vanilla milkshakes. Enjoy."
She left and Buffy said, "She didn't purposely spill the shake on you. Maybe she really has changed."
I was still a bit hesitant. "I don't know. She might have poisoned the shake."
I stirred it around for a bit to see if anything was in the shake. Nope. Everything seemed fine to me.
"Amber never really told me about you guys." Iris stated. "What exactly did she do to you?"
Jonah and I looked at each other. "Too much for us to say." Jonah replied. "Way too much."

Jonah decided to walk me home. "So, that was fun." I said.
He chuckled. "Maybe. Buffy's right, though. We need to communicate better."
"True, but we started to converse a bit more in the end, and we're talking right now."
"But it's not Cyrus and Iris level. Those two could talk about anything for hours."
"Some people just click like that. We just need some more time to figure everything out."
Jonah put his hand on my face, and pulled in, kissing me on my cheek. "I hope that was alright."
I was breathless. "Yeah. It was."
We looked back and noticed we were already at my house. "I'll see you later?"
"Yeah. See ya, Andiman."
—————
Cyrus's POV
I walked Iris home, as any gentleman would. Iris smiled at me. "We have to hang out more often. I really like being around you.""I like being around you too, Iris."
We arrived at her house. "This is where I have to go." We stood in awkward silence for a couple of seconds. Iris didn't walk away. I didn't walk away.
"Is something supposed to happen?" I asked. "Cause this is my first time walking someone home from a date, and I really don't know if—"
Iris pulled me in and kissed me in the lips. Once we finished, she finally walked inside. "Bye, Cyrus."
I was flustered. All I could do was wave and say, "Bye, Iris."
I walked home after that. I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. It felt really good. I felt really good. In a moment of happiness, I jumped up and shouted, "WHOO HOO!"
