Last Time...

"I took a beer from the fridge at home, and went someplace I thought I would be alone." - Jonah

"But you weren't, were you?" - Buffy

"Emma came up to me the next day, and showed me the video. She threatened to show everyone if I didn't do what she wanted." - Jonah

"Now, she wants me to pretend I'm dating her." - Jonah

"You need to tell Andi." - Buffy

———

"Alright. Jonah's birthday is coming. You got this. Just make something for him." - Andi

———

"I told you, Buffy. You stay on this team, you're going to get hurt." - Zane

"Why do you even want me to leave?!" - Buffy

"Cause I don't want to see a repeat of what happened to my sister!" - Zane

"Your sister? What happened to your sister?" - Buffy

———

"You told me that you had a crush on Jonah. Well, so do I." - Cyrus

Cyrus's POV:
I sat down next to Iris, who was still silent about what I told her. I sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to cause any problems between us."

She didn't say anything. I looked at the pond, as tiny ripples formed along the water. "You probably hate me. I won't judge you if you do."

She hugged me. "I don't hate you. I'm not mad that you kept this a secret."

I smiled. "Really?"

Iris nodded. "So, you're... gay?"

"I'm not sure." I said, shrugging. "But, I think I am..."

She made a small chuckle. "I thought I was the only one."

I looked at her, confused. "What?"

"I haven't been honest with you either. Truth is, I'm a lesbian."

"At least we're not alone." I said reassuringly. "Got your eye on anyone?"

She blushes. "There is this one girl. Her name's Emma. She's super nice to me, and I guess I developed a crush on her."

I chuckled. "She sounds like a nice person."

She looks at me. "How many people know about you liking Jonah?"

"Only you and Buffy. How about you?"

"Amber, you, a couple other high school friends, and my parents."

My parents! I forgot I didn't come out to them yet. "How did they react?"

"They still love me. But, it's a bit annoying when they constantly ask me if I have a girlfriend." She gave me a concerned look. "What are you going to tell Andi and Jonah?"

I looked at her with sad eyes. "To be honest, I'm not sure if I will."

Buffy's POV:
There he is. Zane was standing outside Sports N' Stuff. I walked up to him. "Hey."

He stared me down with a face of either anger, sadness, or both. "What do you want?"

"You're going through some issues right now." I say compassionately. "I want to help you."

"I don't need help. I'm completely fine. So just get out of my face."
