Please remember this. I am a busy person. I still have school and other stuff that I have to do. So I'm asking you to not comment stuff like, "Please Update", or "Make more". I will update at least once every week, so please just be patient.

Last Time...

"Do you like Jonah?" - Buffy

"I don't know how I feel about him." - Cyrus

"Buffy. I'm scared." - Cyrus

"It's okay to be scared. But what are you going to tell Andi?" - Buffy

"Nothing." - Cyrus

"I'm positive that a ton of girls here would love to play basketball." - Buffy

"So, why don't they?" - Buffy's Teammate

"Because of sexist boys like you!" - Buffy

Cyrus's POV:
We all met at the Spoon. Iris came in and I waved her over. "Hey there, sweetie."

She laughed. "If we're giving each other nicknames, you have to be a bit more creative with that."

"I can try a pick-up line instead."

Andi started to smirk. "Yeah, Cyrus. Let's see how you do."

I cleared my throat. "If we went into a garden of irises, you'd be the most beautiful flower in the garden."

Jonah looked puzzled. "I don't get it."

Andi leaned in and whispered something in his ears. Jonah nodded. "Ohhh. Now I get it. It's a flower."

Iris kissed me on the cheek. "That was so sweet. Thank you for that."

"Anything for my girlfriend."

Amber came to our table. "Hey, guys. Ready to order?"

Iris replied with, "You look tired. Wanna sit down with us for a bit?"

"I would, but my boss would yell."

After we all ordered, Andi said, "I gotta say. Seeing Amber as a nice person is really... well, nice. Okay, I admit. She's starting to grow on me."

She returned with our orders, and the bill. "Here you go." Another customer signaled her to come. "Gotta go. I'll be back to collect the bill."

Andi took a look at the price. "$10.57? That's cheaper than normal. I like how Amber's being nice, but she doesn't have to give us a discount."

Buffy tapped her shoulder. "Or..." she pointed to a sign on the front saying, "Milkshakes 50% Off! Today Only!"

I shrugged. "She didn't scam us, at least."

———

Buffy and I walked down the street afterwards. "So, you didn't tell Iris yet?"

"What gave it away?" I asked. "The fact that I used a pick up line, or the fact that I called her girlfriend?"

"Cyrus, you have to at least break up with her eventually. And don't tell me that you like her like that. Not even the most committed boyfriend in the world would try that hard."

I nodded. "I know. But I don't know how to tell her. She's so nice. I don't want to break her heart."

"Just let her down easily. You don't even have to tell her that you like Jonah. You can just tell her it's not working out."
