Chapter 10

ZAYN'S POV

My body was pretty badly bruised but I was told I could leave the hospital today. I had come up with an almost alter-ego for myself and I was.. well not excited. I dont exately know how to describe it.

It was clear I couldn't be myself. Louis walked in later and I was dressed waitng for him to come and collect me so we could go to him cousins.

"Hey man." Louis said and I smiled as Louis grabbed my bag for me. "How are you?" Louis asked as we walked out of the hospital.

I just raised my eyebrows and Louis laughed not expecting a proper answer. "So I was going to say, you do realise your going to have to cover up your tattoes?" Louis said and I fake gasped.

"No!" I said sarcastically and Louis rolled his eyes. "Sorry." I muttered and Louis satrted the car driving towards his cousins.

I was sat in a chair being scrutinised by Louis' cousin and Louis. I felt they were picking out my flaws.

"I can definately think of something we can do with you." She said and I nodded. "Just sit back and let me do the work." She said as I closed my eyes and she plastered my face.

A couple of hours later I was sitting with literally a new face. I was completely unregognisable and to be quite honest, hot.

I admired myself in the mirror in awe of how different I looked. "Umm won't my tattoes give it away?" I said and Louis replied with, "Wear a jumper." and I scoffed.

"It will only be for a while," Louis said, "Once I have convinced Liam that you are not hitting on Niall you can just re appear say you wanted to visit."

I was scared by his suggestion but I agreed. I had to keep Niall safe.

HARRY'S POV

Louis had gone out to buy us milk as we had none. I was so paranoid. I always thought that Louis was cheating or didn't love me.

The doorbell rang and I jumped up answering it. "Hel-?" I was cut off my someone slamming me against the wall outside the house.

"Hey faggot." He sneered and I whimpered so afraid. "You atually believed Louis loved you?" He said and laughed in my face.

"So gullable." He sneered. "Just know Louis wont stay with you much longer." He said and I closed my eyes expecting a beating.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I flinched whimpering and another hand was placed on my other shoulder. "Harry?!" Someone suddenly said as I still had my eyes tight shut.

The hands started to shake me slightly and I pleaded. "Please don't hurt me." I said quietly and the hands moved up to my face.

Expecting a punch I was surprised when the hands began to sofly stroke my face. "Baby?" The voice said and I opened my eyes to find a confused Louis with a sympathetic face.

I let out a breath a didn't know I was holding and wrapped my arms around Louis instantly.

He stroked my hair and my heart rate began to slow down and he came away from the hug. "What happened?" Louis said inspecting me.

"T-this g-guy ca-came u-up t-to me-e an-d." I stuttered. "Wow baby lets get you calm and inside yeh?" Louis said and I nodded as Louis picked up the shopping bags.

Louis wrapped me in a blanket and made us tea and then came and snuggled with me on the couch.

"Are you ready to tell me what happened?" Louis said and I nodded. "This guy was at the door and when I went to answer it he shoved me against the wall saying you don't really love me and wouldn't stay with me much longer." I said.

"Oh Haz, you know thats not true." Louis said and I burrowed my head into his shoulder. "Did you regognise him?" Louis asked and I shook my head. "No, I've never seen him before." I atmitted and Louis looked confused.

"I just want to forget about it." I said and Louis nodded dropping it. "Ive texted the guys asking if they want to come round to ours tonight. My cousin just moved here and I want everyone to meet him." Louis said.

"Your cousin?" I questioned, I had never heard Louis talk about him before. "Very distant." Louis said and then kissed my forehead as I thought about how amazing he truly is.

We spent most of the day watching movies and about 3pm Louis brought up the subject of the man this morning. "Are you sure you don't remember what he looked like?" Louis asked.

"No! I already told you, I have no idea who he is!" I said feeling myself becoming angry. "Well if you could remember-" Louis started.

"Well I can't! Just drop it!" I shouted running up the stairs and hearing Louis shouting after me.

I locked myself in the bathroom and soon Louis was pounding on the door. "Baby I'm sorry!" Louis shouted through the door. I just ignored him.

I had never acted this way before but I couldn't stop it. Hours passed and I sat listening to the voices in my head telling me I wasn't good enough.

"BABY!" Louis shouted his voice becoming horse. "Please! We need to get ready! The boys are arriving soon!" Louis pleaded.

I reluctantly unlocked the door and peeked through it to see Louis smiling at me softly. "I'm so sorry baby." Louis said as he hugged me and I breathed in his wonderful scent.

"No, I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me." I said and Louis kissed me. I still felt sparks. "I love you so much." Louis said. "Ditto." I said winking.

"Now go change." Louis said and I smiled going off to our room.
