"W-what...?" I stuttered in a bit of fear as I struggled to comprehend what had happened a mere second ago. Sebastian looked at me with desperation as he held me there.
"I love you." Sebastian repeated to me again as I stood in front of him in shock. I could hear people gasping and whispering to one another as they stared at us. I felt embarrassed and started shaking. My anxiety overwhelming me.
"S-Stop. Please just stop screwing with me!" I yelled at him before jerking my wrist out of his grip and limping away on my crutches. Leaving him behind. He only watched as I left on my crutches.

Time skip to home~

"H-He's lying and probably ju- just wanted to embarrass me in front of everyone. Yah.....He probably just did it as a bet with one of his friends." I cried to myself when I got home that evening. I didn't even talk to Shadow or Phantom when I came in. I just went straight to my room.
"Xander? Can I come in?" I heard Shadow ask me through the closed door.
"It's open. *Hic*" I hiccuped as I sat up in my bed and tried to wipe the tears out of my face. His eyes softened as he sighed.
"You don't have to tell me what happened today. Just let me comfort you, ok." Shadow stated soothingly to me has he walked over and sat on the bed beside of me. After I was mostly done crying I started to talk about what happened today between me and Sebastian, telling Shadow every little detail I could think of.
"Oh dear. That is truly something unusual." Shadow finally said in shock after I finished telling the story. He placed his hand on my head.
"Why do you think he would do something like that? To embarrass me? Harassment maybe? I really don't understand why he did that to me because I know he hates me." I stated in confusion and asked Shadow for advice to deal with the situation at hand.
"Well I know I'm going to sound crazy to you but hear me out. What if you try talking to him for once and you approach him instead of the other way around. Who knows, maybe he does like you and doesn't know how to approach you." Shadow advised me as I looked at him like he was from mars or speaking another language.
"What the hell do you mean by that?! He'll KILL ME!" I stated defensively as I let my fear come over me at the thought of an idea like that.
"It's usually normal for someone to either be shy around there crush or to bully them because they like that person." Shadow countered me as he sighed at how naive I am when it comes to love and people in general.
"I don't know what I want to do. And it's just hard for me to believe that he could possibly like me that way. I mean he has been bullying me since the first day of middle school and up until now. I think I have to sleep on the idea and think about it over night." I sighed as I got up and started gathering my pajamas for bed.
"Whatever works for you Xander. You should be good without the crutches tomorrow so see how you feel in the morning. Good night Xander." Shadow smiled before walking out and shutting the door.
"Good night....."

The next day...

Feeling uneasy the next day I cautiously made my way to home room and took my seat for attendance. I looked around the room for a certain blondie causing me trouble. Looking near the front, I saw him staring at me but he looked away quickly before continuing to talk to the fan girls crowding around him. I felt sorta irritated at the sight.
'Wait, am I jealous?' I thought as I shook my head back and forth quickly to clear my mind of the thought.
"Hey Spot!" A familiar voice called out to me, snapping me out of my daze of thoughts.
"Oh! Morning Drew!" I replied back with a smile.
"What's up with blondie over there? He seems pretty weird today, weirder than usual. Almost as if he's distracted or something." Drew stated as he set his shoulder bag down beside his desk.
'Thanks captain obvious.' I thought to myself as I looked over at Sebastian then back at Drew with a cocked eyebrow.
"Distracted?" I questioned curiosity as if I didn't know what he was talking about. I looked back over at Sebastian to see him sending dagger like glares at us. I flinched in response before turning back to Drew.
"Do you know something?" Drew asked skeptically as he watched my actions. Setting himself on the desk next to mine.
"W-what do you mean?" I asked awkwardly with a slight stutter. He gave me a look.
"What I mean is- OUCH! HEY!" Drew's sentence was cut off once more by a teacher, this time it was our male home room teacher.
"Mr. Drew is present I see but is too busy gossiping with Mr. Freeman here to respond. Pay attention next time or else I will just mark you absent." The male teacher warned Drew after hitting him over the head lightly with a clipboard. I was trying so hard not to laugh at his situation.
"Shut up." Drew snapped irritably after he saw me before rolling his eyes and packing his art supplies back into his bag.

*RINNNG*

The bell rung as everyone packed up and headed to their next class. I built up enough courage to wait until almost everyone had left the class before I approached Sebastian.
"Hey...S-Sebastian?" I asked nervously as I fiddled with my thumbs. Catching his attention he turned to face me and replied with a shocked expression before returning to his cool demeanor,
"Yes?" He said plainly as he packed up the rest of his stuff.

"I'm s-sorry about yesterday. D-do you think we could maybe...start as f-friends?"
