(Flashback to their first meeting)
"Hahaha! Look at this baby here guys! He was only acting tough because he's part of a well known and rich family!" The first boy laughed as he threw dirt into my face. The tears wouldn't stop falling. Their laugher and yells echoed in my mind.
"That's soooo lame! Loser!" Another boy added in. Everything was going silent. I couldn't hear anything at some point and endured the pain as they poured water on me and beat me up. I had already given up when you arrived.
"H-hey! What are you doing to him!" A small boy with black and white hair yelled as he ran over from the playground. His green and blue eyes filled with anger as he shoved the first boy out of the way and kneeled down by my side.
"What's your problem?! You don't even know this kid! Why are you even sticking up for him in the first place?!" The second boy screamed at the kind boy. He was silent for a moment before he stood up and turned his attention towards the second boy. His eyes cold and threatening.
"Your right. I don't know him; but, that doesn't mean that it gives you the right to bully him because he's got a better life ahead of him then trash like you. So, I want you to shut up before you judge a person by their social status. If I don't help him, who else do you think will?" The boy snapped back. My eyes widened in shock as he looked back at me. A gentle, friendly smile appeared on his lips as he outstretched his hand to me.
"Hi! I'm Xander Freeman! Wanna be friends?" He asked after introducing himself. I smiled as I took his hand.
"I'm Sebastian! Sebastian Winshire!" I said back. The pain I had felt just a moment ago, felt like it had disappeared with a single touch.
"Don't joke with me!" The second boy screamed as he punched Xander in the face, sending him stumbling to the ground.
"Your just all talk! If you really wanna change our minds you better come prepared to fight back!" The first boy said as he got up. Shocked, I looked over at Xander, who's eyes were full of tears. In that moment, I felt something I hadn't felt before. The strength to fight back for someone I wanted to protect.
"He doesn't need to...." I trailed off with a low growl rumbling from my throat. The boys looked at me as I cracked my knuckles as a warning.
"Really? And what can you do? Your just a stupid alpha that needed to be saved by an omega of all people! Hahaha!" The first boy fell into hysterics with his friend. Xander looked terrified and embarrassed.
"This." I replied as I nailed him in his jaw. My hands tingled with an unfamiliar sensation. It felt oddly satisfying as I looked at the now crying boy.
"Wh-what did you do that for!" The second boy stuttered as he helped his friend up. My eyes narrowed on the second boy as I walked right up to him hit him in his nose. He covered it soon after with both hands as blood slowly trickled down.
"Who's next?" I hissed. Scaring off the two boys as they cried.
"M-monster!" They yelled as they ran to the teachers. I looked back to see Xander crying into his jacket sleeves.
"H-hey! Thanks for helping me earlier Xander!" I thanked with a smile and slightly nervous laugh. Looking at him now, he seemed to be a year or two younger than me. Judging by his uniform, he appears to be in first grade while I was in second. He looked up at me like a lost puppy in shock.
"Y-your n-not gonna.......*hic* hate me f-for being an.......omega?" He asked me with caution. I smiled and helped him up before hugging him.
"Why would I hate you for your gender? That's like you hating me because I have money or because of who my parents are." I said with a laugh as I pulled back, ruffling his hair. He giggled a bit.
"Ya! I-I guess your right!" He cheerfully agreed.
"Oh, th-thank you for helping me back there too! I got really scarede you know...." he confessed to me with a conflicted expression as he thanked me.
"He's super cute~!" I thought.
"There's no need to thank me! We're friends now, remember?" I reminded him. His eyes lit up with excitement.
"R-really?!" He asked.
"Of course we are! You really have a way with your words and I have the strength to fight back now! Together, we can get through anything that stands in our way!" I boasted with the utmost enthusiasm. He nodded and smiled.
"It's a promise then!" He declared suddenly. I gave him a confused look.
"What do you mean?" I asked him. He puffed out his cheeks in irritation. As he held out his small pinky.
"Promise me that we'll always be together forever!" He pleaded with me. My heart felt like it skipped a beat in that moment. I could feel my face heating up suddenly. I couldn't help but smiling.
"It's a promise." I agreed, wrapping my pinky with his. He gently shock it up and down.
"And if you break this promise, you have to swallow a thousand needles!" He warned.
"That's a bit much but, I agree." I said with a smile. Earning a hug from him. That's how we started our bond.
