"Y-y-you want to go o-on a d-d-d-date with me?" I managed to stutter out we continued our walk home. Sebastian gave a small chuckle before saying ,
"Your so cute when you're flustered." Giving me a big grin before he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and held me closer to him.
"I'm not cute..." I mumbled the sentence as I looked down and leaned into his body for warmth. It was a brisk fall evening and I had a pleasant stroll home with him. For once, I felt...safe around him.

Later that day~

"I'm home!" I announced as I walked through the door before closing it and immediately taking off my shoes.
"Welcome home Xander." Phantom Greeted me from the couch while he watched the tv.
"Dinner is ready. Go wash your hands so we can eat." Shadow told me as he sat the table and finished cooking the last side. Running up the stairs I went into the bathroom and washed up. Looking into the mirror I saw my reflection staring right back at me.
'I don't see how he finds me cute or in any way interesting. Let alone, as someone he loves in that way.' I thought as I dried my hands and headed back down stairs.
"What took you so long to get home?" Phantom asked as I took my seat at the dinner table. I felt my face heat up a little.
"A friend was walking with me." I replied as plainly as I could so that he wouldn't get worried about Sebastian being around me. Shadow just gave me a sigh and Phantom looked at Shadow skeptically as we fixed our plates. It was nearly thanksgiving so Shadow fixed stuffing, sweet potatoes and turkey with gravy since we won't be able to spend time together that day. After I happily ate my fair share of food and cleared the table with Phantom, I rushed upstairs to prepare for tomorrow. Everything was ready. But,
"Where are my contacts?" I muttered in confusion but sighed as I recalled that I was out and had to wear my glasses tomorrow.
'I guess I have no choice' I thought as I got out of the shower and dressed into my pjs before I went to bed.

The next morning~

Sunlight fluttered through my window as the sun started coming up.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

My alarm went off, startling me from my peaceful slumber. Stretching my arms I yawned before I sleepily got ready for school.
Before leaving the house I looked into the mirror at myself wearing my ocean blue frames. Giving a big sigh I walked out the door and headed towards school.

*RIIIINNNNGGG*

The bell rang just as I stepped through the doors to my home room and made my way to my seat and passing Sebastian as I made my way to the back. Sitting down I looked over at Sebastian who then made his way towards me. All of his friends looked confused and or angered as he approached me.
"Se-Sebastian, w-what are you doing? Is something wrong?" I asked nervously as he took the seat beside me. Turning the back of the chair towards me and sitting in it backwards and crossing his arms over the back. Smiling warmly he replied coolly.
"Why would you think something's wrong silly? You don't need to be nervous every time I walk over to you."
"S-sorry. Old habits I guess." I gave an awkward laugh and avoided looking him in the eyes as I talked. His smile went away for a moment before he smiled again and said,
"Well I can't blame you for that. I have done some bad things to you in the past, but I won't ever do something like that again. I promise." I turned my head back to face him. His orange blonde hair was slightly messy as his deep blue eyes stared back at me.
"I see your wearing glasses." He states in shock as he just realized the foreign object on my face.
"Ya, so?" I reply a bit irritably as I look away and puff out my cheeks a bit.
"They look good on you." He chuckled a bit at my annoyance.
"Your making fun of me aren't you?" I questioned him with a slight glare in my miss colored eyes.
"I assure you I'm not." He replied with a slight snicker.
"Whatever..." I sighed as I laid my head down on the desk.
"Hey Xander.Where do you want to go tonight?" He asked curiosity to change the topic.
"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked, lifting my head from the desk top.
"Were hanging out tonight remember?" He stated as he propped his head on his hand.
"I totally forgot...I'm sorry." I looked down, upset that I forgot about our plan to meet up after school.
"Don't be down. We can still meet up after school right? I'll drive you to my house after school." He said enthusiastically as he got up from the seat. Looking at him I smiled and replied with,
"Alright. I don't go to far into town much so I'll let you pick what we do tonight."
"No problem. Just text your brothers if you haven't already ok. I'll see you later Freeman."
He reminded me before he waved goodbye to me and we went to our separate classes.
