It's been six days since Xander disappeared. I sighed and hit my head on the desk.
"F*cking crisps. You were supposed to be my wingman when I confessed to Marry~!" I whined as I kept my face down on the desk. I could hear footsteps approaching my desk.
'I don't wanna deal with the teachers today~!' I thought as I raised my head.
"I swear I wasn't sleeping in class- M-Marry!" I stuttered as my eyes landed on the girl I loved. She smiled and took Xander's seat beside mine. My heart was racing as I felt my face heat up.
"G-Good morning!" I nervously greeted my crush as she giggled.
"Whats this about confessing to me~?" She hummed as she reached out and brushed some of the small hairs out of my face.
"I-I was j-just......um....!" I couldn't find an excuse and ended up with a jumbled up mess of a sentence and embarrassment.
"S-sorry. I........I'm in love with you Marry!" I suddenly apologize before confessing my feelings to her. She just smiled as she leaned over and kissed me. My eyes widened in shock as she pulled back and blushed.
"I've been waiting for this for a long time Drew." She states as she pulls back. Leaving me flustered.
"Let's walk home together. I'd be really happy if you'd do that with me~." She purred as her loving golden eyes stared at me with passion.
"I would love to Marry!" I immediately agree without hesitation as she got up from Xander's seat. The bell rang, signaling the end of class.
"Let's go then." She smiled as she packed up her stuff and I packed mine. She smiled as she linked her arms with mine and leaned into my side as we walked down the hallways and out the front gates of school. I felt a little awkward though since I didn't own a car and rode my bike here most of the time. I sighed as we came up to my bike.
"Sorry it isn't much. We can walk if you want." I said as I rubbed the back of my neck.
"It's fine. I'll be holding onto you all the while." She smiled as I got on the bike. I patted the flat part of the bike behind the seat. She quickly hopped on and snaked her arms around my stomach.
"Let's go!" She cheered as I started to pedal. We rode for awhile around town and decided to stop by the park. The sun was setting on this weekday evening as we walked around the park. Leaving my bike on one of the bike racks in the meantime.
"I'm glad I overheard you talking to yourself. You might not have confessed by yourself if I had not called you out on it." She laughed. Her short pink hair gently blowing in the light wind. The evening sky making her eyes stand out even more. I averted my gaze and smiled.
"Well, I didn't want you to be disgusted by it and leave. I was scared." I explained as we stopped by the small lake. Her eyes widened a little with curiosity. I smiled sincerely.
"Even now it feels just like a dream." I said. She smiled back and pulled me closer by my tie.
"Shut up and kiss me Drew." She ordered before locking lips with me. It felt like I was on cloud nine as our tongues intertwined with one another. My hands moved by themselves as one pulled her closer by her lower back and the other on the side of her face. Her lips were soft and tasted of cherries. If this was a dream, I never want to wake up from this blissful moment. I finally have the girl I've longed to embrace and I'll never let her go.
