At home~
I laid on my bed, staring up at the fan that lazily spun around and around as I thought about what the girls were talking about.
"It can't be true, right?" I asked myself as I thought about the image people saw when they looked at me and Sebastian walking together.
'Maybe I'm just overthinking it.' I thought as I brushed the idea of Sebastian using me to get a girl out of my mind as I started on the homework I put off from earlier this evening. I finished my class work a lot sooner than I thought I was and just decided to go to bed early for tonight. The next day at school~
I slowly made my way to second period. The thoughts of yesterday's rumors still fresh in my mind.
'I didn't see Sebastian in home room this morning come to think of it.' I recalled as I entered my biology class. Drew waved me over with a concerned face. I walked over at a slightly faster pace as I sat down beside him.
"What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost or something." I asked worriedly as he leaned over.
"Is it true that Sebastian is dating you?" He questioned.
"N-no, it's not." I stutter in reply truthfully as I processed the question throughly.
"He's not? Well, I guess that's good news then." He stated with a sigh as he leaned back.
"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked. My curiosity was now perked by the tone in his voice as he sighed in reply.
"You don't know? Sebastian apparently has a girlfriend now." He stated with a shocked tone as he informed me.
"H-he does?" I asked nervously as my mind tried to keep up with all the things people were saying that I never knew about.
"Hey....Spot, are you going to be ok there? You look really pale." Drew asked in concern as I stared at him blankly for a moment before responding.
"Y-ya. It's just a shock to me since he never told me. I-I'll be fine." I hesitated on my words a bit, making Drew look more confused. He let the topic go through as a teacher gave him a warning glare, making everyone flinch when he hit the text book on the table, including me.*RINNNG*
The bell rang for lunch. May tagged along with me and Drew as we walked to the cafeteria together.
"Sooo~ Where's Sebastian at?" She hummed as I sat down at a the rounded table and opened up my lunch.
"I don't know." I replied plainly as I took a bite of my sandwich.
"Really? But I just saw him and a girl talking in the science hallway about some project in class before catching up with you two." She looked at us with a puzzled expression as she added to my reply.
"Should I bring him lunch if he needs to stay after class? He'll miss lunch if he stays any later. Plus I'm already done eating." I asked her with a slightly concerned face.
"You probably should bring him something just in case." She agreed as she dug into her lunch.
Getting up I said my goodbyes to them before making my way towards the science building.
Turning a corner I make my way down a slightly darker hallway to his classroom. Opening the door I was met with a surprise that made my heart feel like it stopped at that moment. What I saw was Sebastian being kissed by the girl. It wasn't a light one either. Backing up I bumped into the side of the door and dropped the lunch, making the two look at me quickly.
"X-Xander! Wait, I-I can explain!" He stuttered out in panic as he quickly pushed the girl aside.
"Look, it's not what you thi-" Sebastian tried to lay his hand on my shoulder but I slapped it away. My miss-colored eyes now full of tears.
"Don't even bother trying to explain what happened. It's clear to me what happened." I calmly stated."I hope your happy together." I smile half heartedly without looking up at him.And with that I ran as fast as I could out of the room, leaving the two of them behind and ignoring his cries for me to come back.
