before
we were in japan. it had been our life dream for- well, for forever. everything was so beautiful and pale and aesthetic, i couldn't believe that i was in one of the best places one earth with the best person on earth. we were walking through the beautiful streets of japan, when you saw a cherry blossom tree. you jumped up and down excitedly, and i have to say i was pretty snazzed too. "dan, we have to take a selfie!" you pleaded. i smiled. we took a selfie with our black polaroid camera. we were happy. you scribbled on "japan" and drew flowers. "what's phan?" i asked. "it's us. it's a pun." we laughed.

you never see cherry blossoms here in london. well, rarely. if you do, you've hit jackpot.
these days, i go out a lot. with a big black jacket and a scarf on, i walk through the streets of london, never looking for something, but always finding something that reminds me of you. well, everything does these days, really. today's travel takes me to a part of london i've never visited before. it's full of flowers. some look like cherry blossoms. i feel phil the lion fish in my pocket and stroke him.
