[ chapter four: wolves and Oliver Queen]

"I don't get why Elena is so upset!"

"Nikolai, you bit her classmate and almost drained him from blood then hid him! He woke up in a trash can outside the school!" Stefan bursted out.

"Well I didn't kill him, just bit the dude a little, plus I was left all alone at the school so I had the right to be upset." Nikolai argued as he sat in the couch at the Salvatore's house.

"Rose died. You weren't the first priority and you don't have the right to kill because you're upset."

"I'm always the first priority Stefan and hey we all knew she  was already dead from the second she got bitten so they should've cared about me instead."

Nikolai was met with a loud sigh from Stefan and a disagreeing look, he didn't care though. Last night he got into a bad mood and decided to lighten himself up with a little snack, that snack being a red headed teenage boy in a football jersey.

"And why don't you focus on Santa Klaus and your whiny little girlfriend who will hopefully be dead in some weeks?"

"She's not whiny and she's not going to die." Stefan spoke, sounding calm even though Nikolai was annoying him to the beyond.

"She's definitely whiny, anywhore shouldn't we talk about that Jules woman and Elijah's deal, John and all that?" Nikolai questioned, feeling a bit out of the loop with everything that has been going on lately.

"I didn't think you liked helping with our problems?" Stefan spoke, looking half amused as he drank out of a whiskey glass.

"I don't but it's fun seeing you guys mess up all the time and I'm bored anyways."

"Hold on, Caroline's calling." Stefan muttered and answered. Nikolai scoffed, no one was paying attention to him lately and he's a slut for attention.

Twenty minutes later the two where standing in the Forbes household, Caroline was ranting about Tyler.

"Why don't we just kill him? You know I can-"

"No!" Stefan and Care shouted at the exact same time, dissing Nikolai's suggestion.

"Stefan you have to talk to him, just try to explain. You always know the right thing to say, he and I are friends." Caroline spoke and Nik felt like the third wheel as the two stared at each other intensely, like forgetting he's even here. Acting childish he knocked over a vase, gaining their attention.

"Nik! Why did you do that?" Care asked, sounding slightly angry at the Italian vampire.

"I was feeling left out and wanted your attention, couldn't help it." He shrugged, trying to look innocent while being glared at.

While Stefan went to the Lockwood's place he banned Nikolai for coming with, saying he would screw it up or 'accidentally' rip Tyler's head off. So he called baby Gilbert and where now playing video games he couldn't understand in the teenager's room.

"Why did you get the cool character, this is unfair." Nik complained, losing once again in the stupid game.

"It's not unfair, you just suck at this." The brunette snickered.
