"What do you want to do? Do you really think it's him?" Nate asked.

"It can't be," I said. "We had deal. He's a lot of things but his word is his bond. Besides, this is not his MO."

"The initials, it makes sense," Allan said. "But you might be right. But if it's not him then who? Could someone be setting him up?"

"It doesn't hurt to look into it all," I said. "And if someone is setting him up then we need to figure out who it can be, and fast. I can't let Katerina be dragged into all of this."

Diaz nodded. "I didn't say anything, but when Katie mentioned the senders initials, alarm bells went off in my head," he said. "Do you think this is all connected to what happened 5 years ago and your parents?"

"What about what happened almost three years ago, when..." Allan trailed off.

God, I fucking hope not. "I don't see how this is connected to my parents, because you know what I did to those animals and as to what happened nearly years ago, that shit has been buried deep and Katerina can never fucking know about that," I gritted through my teeth. "And Hank was paid his dues."

I looked over at Allan and I saw the fury and his jaw clenching at the thought of what happened five years ago.

"I'm going to get in contact with Hank and see what I can find out," I said.

"No. You can't get involve with him. Not again. Not when you're finally starting a life with Katerina," Allan said.

"But..."

"I agree with Allan," Nate said. "That son of a bitch always wants something in return and I refuse to let you put yourself in that situation."

"I can't just not do anything. You guys of all people should understand where I'm coming from and why I need to do this," I said.

"It is because we understand that we're telling you that you can't get involved," Jake pointed out.

"Then what the hell Do you suggest I do?"

"Will get someone else to work undercover," Diaz interjected.

We all looked at him as if he's grown another head.

"You of all people should know the danger of what you're suggesting. Besides, who are we going to send to work undercover when the bastard knows everyone in our company," Nate said.

"You're forgetting about DeSousa. He doesn't know him."

"And what makes you think he'll agree to this," I asked. "He made it clear during his last assignment that he's done with all of this. Last I heard his up in his cabin in Alaska."

"He'll help. Trust me," Diaz said.

"You sound so sure," I said.

"Hank has someone he wants," he said.

"Someone?"

"Hank's got his brother."

"Does he know?"

"Not yet. But he will," Diaz said.

"They're squirming," I laughed. "I bet you their heads are spinning trying to figure it if Hank is behind all of this."

"What do you plan to do next?"

"I've got another surprise up my sleeve, and I'm going to need Hank's help."

"You're going to tell him?" Troy asked.

I glared at the idiot. "Don't be a fucking idiot. Of course not," I snapped. "He'll be helping me without even knowing it."
