"Aargh!"

"What's wrong?" My sister Lia asked.

"Your husband's best friend is driving me crazy," I said.

Lia laughed on the other end of the line.

"Another set of flowers?" She asked.

"My whole damn apartment looks like a flower shop," I hissed. "He needs to stop doing this. All he's doing is piss me off," I said with irritation.

"Well, I happen to think it's sweet."

I rolled my eyes. "That's because you're too drunk on love."

She chuckled. Then a cry sounded. "Crap," she groaned. "It's Riley. She's been extra clingy this past couple of days. She cries and freaks out when she loses sight of me," she said, as I heard some shuffling.

"I'll let you go," I said. "I might stop by at Dyl's later today to help Kat. She's been busy decorating the nursery, and now that they know what the baby's sex is going to be, she wants to put the final touches on the nursery."

"Alright, I might stop by then. I'd love to see the room," Lia said.

"Ok. Well let me know if you're coming. We can just go together."

"I'll let Nate know so he can watch the kids. I'll text you in a bit, then I can pick you up."

"Ok. Sounds good," I said.

"Ok. Love you."

I smiled. "Love you too," I said, before ending the call.

I sighed as I looked around the room filled with dozens and dozens of flowers.

The doorbell rang.

I walked to my front door and looked through the peephole.

Great. Another delivery.

I opened the door.

"Thanks," I said politely as I signed for the delivery.

I closed the door and grabbed the card.

I opened and read it.

Hope you have settled in nicely.

- H. J.

I frowned as shiver ran down my spine.

I tossed the bouquet and the card in the trash and made sure I double locked my doors.

This can't be happening again.

Not again.

When I was half way through college, I started receiving gifts and cards from this H. J. person. At first I didn't think much of it, but soon after I was receiving text messages from the said person, which totally freaked me out. I immediately changed my number. The gifts continued, so I decided to move out of my dorm to a safer apartment.

Even though the gifts stopped, when my dad insisted once again that he sent me some guards, I didn't argue, much to his surprise. I didn't want to worry him, but I was still worried, so I accepted the guards.

After graduation I moved back home, the gifts and the cards stopped coming completely, and I soon forgot about them. Until now.

The fact that he knows where I live, means that he has been following me or has started again. He knows that I moved to this house and I know that this bouquet of flowers is just the beginning.

My stomach clenched and I made sure to close my curtains in case he's watching me.

A shiver ran down my spine at the thought of him possibly watching me.
