• Elizabeth's POV •
° 7: 32 AMCameron and I walk in extreme silence. The cold morning breeze of Autumn hitting our bodies and from time to time the crunch of fallen leaves under our feet could be heard.
The weather fit perfectly with the situation, cold and grey. I knew how this would end, it had happened a couple of times and it has always end up the same.
We stopped in the back of the gym, for a few minutes he didn't say anything, just looked at me intently, his hands were tensed up shaping a fist. Cameron inhaled a gulp of air trying to calm down.
"So today you're not free?" I say breaking the silence, a little fed up of his drama.
"Told you I won't" Cameron said spitting up the words, his gaze is furious.
"Then... why we came here?" I kick a little rock, hitting a tree behind Cameron.
"You gotta drop being Like this" Rage. Despair. Sadness. Anger. But mostly anger in one sentence, only one.
"Like what?" I ask because I have no idea of what he is talking about.
"You don't like spending time with me and you didn't even care to go and look for me while I was sick" Cameron says furious.
"Well you have been pretty busy lately and you told me not to go and visit you..."
"What the hell I never said that!" Cameron's voice echoed in the cold air making me flinch a little "And you know this game is important I gotta practice"
"Then if you gotta practice you neither have time for me, and believe me I've got plenty of time to hung out" I say I little coldly "And if I may clear your thoughts I didn't go to see you because you said you didn't wanted me to get sick" I open my bag to look for my phone "I can show you the texts if you have forgotten" I say almost yelling, sometimes he can be a ass.
"Fine. Ok, you don't gotta show me" He say more tensed up, knowing I've got a point "But at least you should go and watch my practice" Cameron insists.
"I am not going to go Cameron. I need time for myself too..."
"Sure! Go and spend your time with other people, cause that's what you do now, right?" Cameron's face is completely red, and it's seems like his eyes could spit lava.
"Enough Cameron! I don't need any of this, talk to me when you know how to control yourself!" I yell with anger and walk away.
• Alex's POV •
I woke up at the same time I've been getting up this few days, and most likely the rest of my school year.
I went down to the kitchen once I got ready, meeting my parents. Next to the counter rested a travel bag.
They told me they have decided to go and pick up the things left in Seattle earlier and of course Jacob, we didn't brought him because they wanted to organize the house first. The thing is that my parents are the kind of people that have everything planned and don't want any trouble in the way. For the third time I declined their invitation to our old city and prefer to stay here, taking school as a excuse (I would say a really valid excuse).
Dad hand me a cup of coffee, smelling sweet and bitter at the same time, the best combination at this hour in the morning."Alex, promise you won't cause any trouble" mom says giving me a big warm hug "And no parties" mom separates from the embrace.
"Yeah, mom, Like if I knew many people" I say, with extreme sincerity.
