I froze that very moment. How does she know... That I lied about mom and dad? How does she something she wasn't supposed to know."Ryl-" I say before she interupts me.
"I THOUGHT YOU COULD TELL ME EVERYTHING, LIKE EVERYTHING EVERTHING! WHY WOULD YOU HIDE SUCH A THING?" She screamed while bursting into tears. I couldn't think anymore. My brain stopped working completely. The answer wants, I don't think I can give it.
"How did you find out..." I asks her.
"I went to Dulce's daycare, and asked her teacher for Dulce's number but the teacher denied for privacy reasons. Then I told Dulce to take me to your apartment and she told me that you wouldn't be happy about it. I told her that you were sick and took me to the apartment. When I got there, I knocked on the door quite a few times, but there was no answer. The lady in charge of the apartments came to me and said that you were not home. I asked for your mother and she told me that you live with only your sister. I asked you sister where your mother is and she started to cry. I tried to calm her down and she told me that you guys didn't have a mom or a dad..." She explained to me. She stared at me and grabbed me into a hug.
"How have you lived like this.. for how long...?" She questioned me.
"Ever since I was 13, I was orphaned by the Lawson," I told her. I guess it's I tell her.
"I'll tell you everything, just come home with me," I request and we go home. I open my front door to let the 2 pass through and I close the door and lock it. I sit down on a sofa as I get ready to explain everything.
"My parents Savannah and Isaac Lawson, were killed by a mafia. My mother, Savannah was liked by that mafia, but she declined him for dad. The mafia was furious because of her decision and decided to kill her, once and for all. He killed dad as well, right in front of a 6 month old baby and 13 year old girl. I fled to my family doctor, Doctor Brice and he took me and Dulce as his kids and fled Manchester and came to America. We moved states so that the mafia couldn't pin point us. Luckily, He has no idea Dulce exists. If he did, he would have killed her that very moment," I explained as I drowned in my tears.
Rylee quickly pulls me into a hug, trying to erase my sadness. Dulce jumps into the hug as she starts to tear up. Rylee breaks up the hug and wipes our tears.
"You're one strong girl Dulce," She said smiling.
"And you, raising your sister on your own must have been harsh..." She tells me.
"Not when she's understanding," I tell Rylee as I kiss her forehead.
"But you must promise, you can't tell anyone about this, not even your mother," I exclaim.
"I promise, I'll do anything to keep you two safe," she says. I explain to Dulce about how she is not supposed to tell anyone ever. I mean she's trying her best as a 5 year old, I can't demand more. I asked her to come with me to see doctor Brice tomorrow. She agreed. She asked Aunt Renee if she could have a sleep over and she agreed. Guess, not all Friday nights are ironical. We played some board games, had dinner, made brownies and had a truth and dare session after Dulce went to sleep. Now, truth and dare... too many secrets revealed.. oh lord.
"So who's your crush?" Rylee asks me.
"Wedges," I tell her.
"A real person I mean," she declares.
"Well I don't really have a crush, it's too early to have a crush on anyone to be honest," I explain. She agreed. We had about 14 rounds before I asked her about any previous relationships.
"They was a boy I liked 2 years ago and he confessed he liked me back but he was 2 years older than me. We were pretty close though we didn't loose any "cards" and suddenly he had to move to New York and I completely lost contact with him," She explained.
"What was his name?" I asked her.
"Ryder," she answered. I shouldn't be judging people by names BUT, All the people I know who were named Ryder turned out to be players. Soon, in mid game, we fell asleep in happy thoughts.
Saturday
My eyes opens to the smell of freshly made pancakes.
"Rise and shine, sunshine," Rylee says in completely, weird country. Weird cause she's failing and at the same time she sounds too funny to resist. I saw Dulce, already to go out. Rylee explained that she'll drop Dulce to her house and then we could go to Doctor Brice. I thanked her for her help a thousand. I haven't been able to rely to anyone so much as I have on Rylee. I do my daily routine, change my clothes into a nice leather jacket with a fishtail dress and black pumps. I'm actually very tall if. Forgot to mention, 5'11. It's pretty great for me. Rylee is about 5'9 so she's... just normal. I gave her a pair of my clothes to wear since she had nothing to wear but a school uniform and a spear outfit she kept in her bag. I gave her a long blazer with a crop top and blue jeans and I tied her up in a pony tail while I kept mine open. We leave home as quick as possible to reach of destination.
About an hour later, I reach the clinic with Rylee. I go to the front desk and confirm my appointment. I waited for at least 3 minutes and I was called inside. Rylee waited outside for me and so she got busy with her phone, talking with Sydney.
"Oh, good to see you Miracle," Doctor Brice said. I sat down on the chair in front of his.
"Now, Miracle, I wanted to tell you something that I'm pretty sure you don't know. It's nothing about medical issues but it's about your self," He told me.
"What is it Doctor?" I questioned him.
"Just read this and you'll understand, " He states while giving me an old diary.
