Chapter XIV

One Month Later

"DOMINIC! CAN YOU WAIT!?" I scream as I run to grab his leg and make him fall, easy win you know but there's a huge difference between a turtle and a cheetah. A month passed without even realizing. Life has been great recently, No deaths, No disappointments and just fun. Though, that man on Doctor Brice's funeral makes me wonder a lot of things but I try to keep that behind me. I just have to much fun too worry about. Lately, I got a new phone so my secret messenger thingy is gone, well then. AND! Dominic and I are more closer than ever. Rylee actually gets jealous of him and screams at him. And the rest of the group, just ship me and him together, without telling him of course otherwise he'd slap the life out of them. I don't know if our feelings are mutual though but... I admit, There is a tiny cell in a my body which detects, I like Dominic. He's a great friend, and a great person in general. I just don't know if he likes me in the same way... And I wouldn't bother asking anyways.

"Slow poke, you should speed up," He says tapping my nose. I chuckle and we continue walking till next class. It's Friday and I know, I haven't said this but... Tomorrow is the dance. I don't have clothes nor a date so I'm doomed. Yay. Not. I know it's weird that I'm worrying. I mean, I know a month ago, I was totally against the point of hanging out with friends but a special friend also not known as Dominic, told me that I need to lighten up and enjoy more. And I listened to her. Yes, It was Rylee and her words were really true, but seriously, I've been getting suspicious about Sydney. Last week she called me a name that only a friend back in Manchester used to call me. I wonder if she's just trying to hide from me? Or maybe I'm just doubting her for no reason? I don't know and right now, I have no time to care. At least, not today.

The whole day, Us and the 'Princes' have been together. I think Ethan is developing a crush for Sydney and I admit, they're pretty cute. Lately, Aubrey and Ava have been completely out of the picture. There was a rumour that Ava got a boyfriend whose in University. Oh well, I hope he can put up with her. After school, Rylee, Sydney and I wave to the guys as we leave for our shopping. I lately got a job to be a florist and keep Dulce with me which was a pretty win win situation.

"We are here, the best mall in all of Phoenix," Rylee says. And it was huge. There were hundreds of stores in the mall, and they all had the best looking clothes. For some reason, it's the first time I've been and I'm excited out of my guts!

"Alright, so does everyone know what kind of a colour pattern you want for your outfits?" Sydney asks.

"Yup!" Both I and Rylee exclaim. We all chuckle as we continue walking. I'm looking for a long dress, black fading into silver with sequins, Silver Heels and simple jewellery. Rylee is looking for a long royal blue dress which has a opening with silver heels with a silver necklace with loads of sequins and huge earrings. Sydney is looking for a Red dress, up to her Knees or a bit higher with black heels, a simple black necklace and some studs. It'll suit really well with her Brunette hair.

After 1 hour and a half, we found exactly what we wanted. As soon as we were done, we screamed in excitement. To be honest, I never thought I'd get this kind of happiness. I thought, sorrow was what I was going to live through but I was proved wrong. My friends, have made my life become the best thing in the whole wide world. At least, Dulce can have a better life than me. We return back home after having a Caramel Latte at Little and Friday. Aunt Renee agreed that she'd take care of Dulce today and tomorrow when we're gone. After that, I PROMISE TO HAVE A MOVIE MARATHON OF PONIES. We waved to Sydney as we left to find Aunt Renee. Minutes later, I get a message from Dominic.

Dominic : Aye, do you have a date for tomorrow?

Me : Nope, and neither do you so we're going together.

Dominic : Haha, excuse me. How did you know I didn't have a date?

Me: Not only are you smart at figuring out things.

I'd giggle as I type the message.

Dominic : Great. I'll pick you up?

Me : And Rylee, cause Jackson is meeting her there.

Dominic : Jackson is really a sloth honestly.

Me : LOL I told him the same thing.

Dominic : Haha, Okay. I'll pick you two up. I bet you'll look great so I need to find clothes.

Me : AND DO IT FAST!

Dominic : Right, see you tomorrow.

Me : Bye Dom!

Hasn't our relationship escalated? And I'm happy it did. Rylee looks at me as if she knows Dominic messaged me.

"Wasn't today great?" Rylee asks excitedly.

"Of course! This has been the greatest day of my life!" I told her while smiling away.

"Mum's waiting for us at the park," Rylee said. I nodded and we went running to Aunt Renee.

"Hi my little cuties!" Rylee squealed and pulled the two girls into a hug. They laughed away as they danced around.

"How was your little shopping date girls?" Aunt Renee asked.

"It was great!" We exclaimed.

Aunt Renee dropped Stephanie with us at my apartment and so, we all are having a sleep over tonight! I will put the little ones to sleep early because, we are gonna have some Rylee and Miracle time. HAHAHAH. Okay, I sound completely creepy, but they need their beauty sleep too. I ordered pizza for dinner and honestly, it truely was a great night. Rylee ended up making me spill the point that I like Dominic. I just hope tomorrow is as good as today was.
