Chapter XV

Saturday Afternoon

This morning was pretty... exciting. When your sister tells you that she's attracted to ponies, it gets much better. I actually woke up late, and rushed to get everything done in the morning. Right now it's 5:00 pm and I've just started to get ready. Aunt Renee is staying with the two girls while we are at the dance. I'm so excited, pretty much because this is my first and my last one... And I want to enjoy is completely. I had a shower and I practically used all my shampoo to make my hair look good... It's smells much better so it's working I guess. I quickly got into my dress and then, began to do my makeup. I didn't do very heavy makeup since I never do it, But I used a tiny bit of highlighter today, to stand out. I used bronze eye-shadow lightly on my eye lids with a eyeliner. I used Maroon matte lipstick to finish off the look. Later, I tied my hair into a loose flower crown with a few strands of hair hanging. My hair looks perfect being Black with teal dip dye. And finally, my look was complete.

Rylee, used silver eye-shadow with eyeliner and nude peach lipstick. She left her hair in curls, and it looked great with her royal blue dress. While she was getting ready, there was a knock on the door.

"Coming!" I said before I went running towards the door. I opened the door to green piercing eyes staring at me as if it had seen heaven. It was Dominic, wearing a black suit, holding two roses.

"Hey, Look you look great," He said before handing me a rose.

"Thank you! Same goes for you though," I said before accepting the rose and spinning away. Rylee came minutes later and accepted the rose Dominic had for her. 

"Hey, where's your mom?" He asked. Now, this is where everything goes wrong. When the topic reaches my parents. I certainly haven't told him about my parents yet and I don't know if I should any soon...

"She's insi-" I tried saying before Aunt Rylee was greeting me from inside.

"Have a good day at the dance, my dear!" She said while imitating another voice. I chuckled to myself as I replied.

"Thank you mom!" I said while walking away into Dominic's car. Okay, so I know Dominic is rich and all but... I didn't know he had a Chevrolet Camaro. My jaw dropped as soon as I had seen the car, and I internally died. I sat in the front of the car, while Rylee sat in the back.  It took us about 20 minutes before we arrived at the hall.

Dominic first exited and opened the door for, holding his hand out to take me out. Rylee, stuck at the back stared at us for a minute before she could get out.

"Aye!" Jackson said, waiting at the entrance. His jaw dropped the minute he saw Rylee and I am for certain, he internally died. I mean, Rylee looked beautiful, like always. He became a gentleman for a minute and offered to go inside. Keep caution because I said for a minute. They both started betting at the door and ran inside laughing.

As they left, Dominic locked his hand onto mine and lead me into the hall, Into the night I'll never forget. 

The music was so loud, my ears were going to blast very soon because of the echoing walls. I saw Sydney and Ethan getting drinks while I was walking in. Sydney looks adorable in her red dress, specially since she has brunette hair. We all danced away in the night as the songs changed. I believe I can get drunk with punch. Or is it because I had 12 glasses...? Dominic was enjoying the night as well, which was pleasing to see. We all took many pictures and clanked our glasses to every saying in the world. Tonight was just so perfect, It was for sure nothing could ruin it.

Until, everyone stopped and started staring at the entrance. There was Aubrey and Ava standing with two guys.

"What's wrong Rylee?" I ask her.

"The guy standing beside Ava... Is Ryder," She told me.
