I'm putting in some things about homeschoolers that may be offensive to some of you, and AREN'T TRUE.
I'm a homeschooler, so yea.
Oh yea, the main character has a sister that died in the games.

Chapter 2: No Chance
----------------------------------------
I am lying on a cot in a room. The room has big windows that heavenly sunlight flows through, and smells of antiseptic. I'm in the nurse's office.
The nurse is right beside me, changing a warm cloth that has been placed on my forehead for a cool one.
My first instinct is to ask what happened, but I already know the answer.
To make sure I check my finger. Sure enough, a little raised dot marks where the tracker was put in my finger.
I wish it were a dream, a horrible dream, one where I would wake up and run to my parents room seeking comfort.
But it isn't. It's the beginning of The School Games.
Before the games, each tribute must have a health exam.
Not like if you were unhealthy they'd care. They only do it because they want to see how good of a show you'll put on.
Silly, I know, but the homeschoolers have to have their show.
Snooty people, they are. They live life like there's no tomorrow, yet for them, isn't true.
One once told me that they're very lonely, but I don't believe them, mainly because they have many siblings.
I only had my sister, but even that was rare because the majority of public and private schoolers have no siblings. This is because parents are afraid of both of their children being picked, and then they could only hope that one of them would make it out safely.
I remember seeing my sister die in the games, on television. She was crouched in an empty classroom when the male from twelfth grade stabbed her in the stomach. He left, assuming she was dead because another tributes cannon had gone off at that moment. She was smart, and pretended to be dead. However, she suffered the next few days, and ended up taking her own life. But the games really are what killed her. And I still have nightmares about it, even though that was over a year ago.
My parents aren't planning on any more kids. The lose of my sister was too much to bear.
Suddenly, I realized the nurse was staring at me with a concerned look on her face.
"How long was I out?" I ask.
"About three minutes, not much to be concerned about," she said.
"What?" I'm still having trouble processing everything that's happening.
"Great news! I did your physical while you were out, and you have a sprained ankle from your fall!"
Great.
