Chapter: 8

My hear soaked water dripping down my face. My body freezing from my soaked clothes, i watched as the nurse took me into the room Carl was in. Rows of guards standing in front of the room. A few officers were in front of the hospital. I entered The ward were Carl was. My face water running down it you couldn't see me crying. all i could think of was the scene of my mothers crash happening again but this time Carl was there to. I looked at Carl the heart beat machine speeding up every second.

" Carl?" I said softly looking at him. He moved his head slightly looking at me. " Why are you crying?" Carl asked. He was the only one that noticed even with my face filled with water. " Why do you say I'm crying Carl" i asked him knowing fully well he knew. " I'm sorry Carl this is all my fault, i made you mad at me and didn't tell you to have a safe trip before you left that's why you got hurt" i held his hands to my face feeling all sorts of pain after being told my mother had no skill and seeing Carl in a hospital. "Your blaming your self again Yuka, you haven't changed a bit after all the lecturing i had to give you." I watched as the machine beat faster.

Carl got paler i couldn't bear to see him hurt , but it was all I was seeing blood dripping from him. I looked at Carl as the machine went slower and slower. I was losing him and there was noting i could do about it. " Carl" i said softly but all he could do was look at me in pain. "Carl please don't leave me" was the words I was finally able to let out. I busted out into many tears i heard my heart break apart all i could do was beg him not to leave. " Carl please don't leave me you promised you'd stay with me for ever" i said. I watched every one try to do every thing they could to save him. " You kept the ring I gave you for your birthday" i heard Carl say. "I thought you didn't like it." I remembered the ring I always wore. It was a present I received from Carl it was the first thing I'd ever gotten for him it was the most valuable thing to me even though I told Carl I didn't like it i aIways wore it. " So you did like it I got scared you'd trow it away, I'm so glad you kept it." Carl said smiling even though he was in pain he smiled for me.

"I did promise I'd be with you forever I'm sorry i couldn't do that" was the last words Carl told me then he was gone. "CARL, CARL,CARL" I said his name again and again but he didn't seem to hear me i couldn't accept the fact that he was gone i didn't want to." Carl you can't leave me, mother died you can't leave me you promised you'd stay with me i won't let you break you promise" i yelled " can't you guys do anything about this you can't leave him to die do something i won't let you get away with this its your job to save him try harder is pointless working as you do if you can't save your patient" i yelled holding onto the doctors collar.

They called security for me and they throw me outside. The way I dressed it was hard for me to be noticed as some rich girl but i was happy they threw me out above didn't notice who I was. I couldn't bear the pain and it would of been they they would of treated other people.

I felt my body weak as i stood in the heavy rain as I took a step forward i fell my body trembling. I watched some one walk towards me. It was Jake he held my hand to help me up as I quickly slapped his hands away getting up on my own. "I'm not helpless you think I can't do things on my own? I can do any thing by my self I don't need your help. You stay away from me and my life you wouldn't understand after what happened too me." 

Jake watched her walk away limping she looked as though she would fall but she faded away walking on her own in the rain after seeing her painful expression .
