Chapter 8

-Iris POV-

Mel and I looked up only to be greeted by the whole Magcon gang grinning.

We widened our eyes as we slowly stepped in.

Aaron slowly took my hand and I clasped his back. I saw Taylor look down at our hands then back at us and smile.

"Sooo...." Mel awkwardly stated, "what goes on..?"

"Food." Cameron replied quickly.

Everyone giggled as the elevator hit the lounge floor.

We stepped out and slowly made our way to a huge table arranged for us.

I sat next to Aaron as Mel sat on the other side of me. Of course, Taylor sat by Mel which made her blush like a cherry tomato.

Bart walked from the elevator, taking a seat at the head of the table. Everyone greeted him as Mel and I sat there awkwardly.

He introduced himself and asked how Mel and I were. He's really quite cool.

After everyone had their plates heaped with food Aaron popped a question that made everyone's head turn.

"Hey Bart, can Melissa and Iris be part of the Magcon Fam?"

I dropped my fork. Everyone looked at me, Aaron grinning at my action.

Bart wiped his mouth before replying with a 'yes'.

I looked at Mel, she looked at me. What were we going to tell her mom.. more importantly what am I going to tell my dad?

Everyone clapped. Mahogany came over and hugged us while Nash and Cameron high fived us. Taylor gave us a quick squeeze before we started heading for the elevator.

"Wait", Aaron stopped the door before it closed.

"Hmm?" I looked up. Gah, those brown eyes that make me melt.

"Aren't you staying?" he frowned.

"We still need to talk to my mom about the concept and Iris' dad." Mel replied confidently.

"Oh... okay. Meet us by the pool at 1?" He smiled.

"Yes, of course." I say curtsying.

He laughed before the elevator doors shut. As soon as they closed, Mel and I screamed and started hugging each other.

"Oh mi gosh! Magcon worthy? Can you believe it?!" she screeched.

"I know, Aaron more importantly! Did you see how he winked at me before asking Bart?" I say hurriedly.

"Uh, yes! He loooooves you" she said dramatically.

"Shut up" I said as I swatted her on the arm.

As we were walking down the hallway Mel's mom looked at us and smiled.

"Hello girls, how was your little breakfast meet?" she grinned.

"Mom.. can we become part of the Magcon Family?" Mel popped the question.

Her mom gave us a confused look as if she doesn't understand the teenage girl slang.

"Can we go on tour with the guys?" I say telling her.

"Oh... well I'll have to talk to your father about this Mel.. what about school?" she said worriedly.

"Screw school" Mel stated. I elbowed her in the stomache.

"I mean we could do online tutoring until it's over? Come on Mom, it's only for the summer!" she smiled sarcastically.

"Well.. I don't see why not.. what do you kids say nowadays? Yolo?" she questioned.
