The Perfect Partner [AU]

Chapter Eleven.

   I came out of my room and head straight to the lounge. I was about to prepare coffee, when Steve came in the scene. Natasha and Tony were sitting near the table. I held the coffee maker's mug and Steve grabbed it from me, "Oh, let me do that for you." He poured the coffee in my cup. "Thanks." I grinned at him.

I notice Natasha tap Tony's arm and they both glance at us. I sit in front of the table, and Steve sat at the other side. Thor came in the room, "Alright, men and women."

I smirked at him, "Good morning."

"Today, we will be heading to the nearest broad field. I shall now leave, with my brother, Loki." Thor glanced at us.

"Just like that?"

"We can't just let him do his evil schemes all over again. The sooner, the better." Steve looked at me, I nodded in agreement.

"Make sure he doesn't get away this time." I chuckled.

"Indeed." Thor spoke, about to leave.

It had been a week, and everything's about to end now. Thor's gonna bring Loki back in Asgard. I guess the Avengers job will be off for now. I'll be living quietly in my house for a while. Then just paint and paint.

And.. I guess Steve and I will not be able to see each other?
