A week has passed, and everything went really fast for me. Loki was brought back in Asgard with Thor. All of us are to return to our usual state. I have to admit, I'm missing Steve. He lives in New York, while I live in California. It's a very long trip, if he'd visit. Well, I don't think he had time. I never heard of him ever since.

I know, it sucks just knowing that after the whole thing.. It just ended too soon. It hurts. So I guess that is it for me. I knew that everything would just end like this.

I sat on my couch and drank root beer. As I start to get comfy, I heard a loud engine outside, I didn't like noise a lot. I did not like sounds of loud engines too. I loved silence, the reason why I live near a beach. I went out to my yard and stared at the shore. I stood there, crossing my arms.

I could feel the pain. I made a fool out of myself. This may be the reason why Natasha never had time for romance.

My door bell rang. I turn away and head for the door.

I walked towards the door and opened it gently. I saw a man wearing a brown leather jacket, and a white V-neck shirt, sporting dark blue pants. His golden brown hair reminded me of someone. Who else could it be? Steve Rogers.

I smirked as he just looked at me, "I am terribly sorry, Dawn--" I slapped him before he finished his sentence. He sighed, then glanced back at me. "I deserve that for leaving."

"No, you deserve that cause you didn't visit me."

"I'm sorry. But I live too far, I had to book flights. But the first one got delayed and-"

I kissed him, deeply. I placed both my hands on his shoulders. He kissed me back, his arm wrapped around me.

We kissed so long, but it wasn't enough. I wanted his lips back on mine. We both didn't want it to last. But I slowly moved away, as he stared into my eyes. "I can do this all day." He whispered.

I chuckled, blushing, he said, "Not seeing you for a long time is difficult." H

"I started to think you forgot everything." I furrow my eyebrows,

"I wouldn't." He grinned at me, "with all the teasing they did? I would not forget that," He chuckled.

"And that surprise kiss." I added and he grinned,

I smiled at him. I had a small thought in mind and couldn't help but ask, "Is the Avengers really done? I mean, I'm missing all the action."

We went in the house, he closed the door behind him. He held my hand, "Anywhere you go, there will always be someone out there needing your help."

"Of course." I nodded, "So, you're gonna be my partner?" I grinned,

"A partner, indeed." He grins back at me.
