Steve fixed his bags, when Nick came in with his hands behind his back. Steve glances, hearing  footsteps along the corridor. "You never told us,"

Steve just sneered, and carried his bag on his back. "Did not need to, Sir."

"That is nonesense, Captain." Fury replied, standing still.

"We handled it, He was just an ordinary criminal craving for power."

"Yes he is,"

Steve paused, facing Fury, "I don't understand why it's a big deal to you."

"You should've not done it alone," Fury sighed, "Don't get your personal matters get In the way."

"It doesn't matter-" Steve shook his head in disbelief,

"Maybe it does."

Steve walked past Fury, reaching for the door. But Nick caught Steve's attention.

"You're gonna have a hard time trying to protect her, now that he's using her as a threat. Don't let him get into your head, Cap."

Steve stopped walking, and paused for Nick's response.

"Trust me, He's got no chance getting near her."

He continued walking out of the room, and left a thud on the door.

Pricilla was sleeping soundly on her bed. The window's curtains are swaying back and forth, and trees casted a shadow across the room. Steve slowly approached her, staring while she sleeps. He leaned in beside the mattress, caressing Dawn's face.

"I won't let anyone hurt you," He spoke, reaching in for a kiss. He pressed his lips against Dawn's and moved back. She quickly opened her eyes, with a gasp. Only to see Steve gazing at her in the middle of the night.

"What are you doing here?" She asks him,

Steve apologizes, holding her hand. "I-I came in to check up on you. I'm sorry if I woke you up-"

"Where were you?"

"I was out, and I saw Fury." He sighed, "He spoke to me about Heeve."

As Dawn was about to sit up, Steve stopped her. "No, you should get some rest."

"But-"

"Just go back to sleep,"

Dawn sighs, and holds a tight grip on Steve's hand. "Did he say something about us?"

Steve did not reply, he stands up and looks away. "I have to go."

"You know I don't like being underestimated, Steve. He should know that we can handle things like these, and we won't allow this situation to just get in the way." Pricilla responds, staring at Steve who did not look back at her.

Steve spoke as he started to walk towards the door, "Please, Pricilla. Just go back to sleep."

"Steve," Pricilla says once more, "You do know these kind of things are for children. But what I feel for you is true."

"I know, and I love you."

Pricilla bites her lower lip, "We'll handle this." she says and pauses,"You're leaving, aren't you? Where are you going?" she asks.

Steve gulps and turns to face Pricilla, "I have to figure out a way about this. I need to leave."

"No!" she exclaims standing up from the bed, "I won't just lay here, while you leave me! I'm not just going to put this all to rest and pretend like I'm gonna see you again! Just tell me why you have to leave?"

"I know what I said." Steve raises his voice, "But you have to trust me."

Dawn shook her head in disbelief, "You don't have to-"

"I'll be back, Dawn. Just stay here, okay?"

"I'm not weak, nor a little child. I can do whatever I want,"

"Then do me a favor, don't do anything else that might cause you harm."

"Steve just-"

Before Dawn could finish her sentence, Steve ran in for a kiss. He wrapped his arm around her waist, kissing Dawn passionately. He pulled away slowly, opening his eyes.

"I'm sorry."

He left without anything else, but an apology.
