It was the day of Halloween, and Johnny of course, asked me to go trick-or-treating with him and the gang. Johnny, being sweet as usual, let me choose the costume this year. Plus, I didn't tell him what we were dressing up as, so it was going to be a surprise! Johnny came over to my place, along with Ponyboy. Pony was already in his costume waiting for us to get ready.
"Johnnycakes are you ready to see you costume?!?" I said excitedly.
"Yep. So what are we going to be, Y/N?" He asked sitting down on the couch.
"Let me go get the bags!" I say and run up the stairs.
Johnny's POV
I was excited that Y/N was excited. Pony looked over at me,
"Ya know, when girls get excited like that,you ought to be scared." He said sitting back into the couch. I just shake my head, "As long as she's happy, I'm happy." I said, then I hear Y/N come down the stairs with a big bag, and a big ole grin.
"You ready, Johnnycakes?" She asked.
"Mhm." And the next thing I know is my widened at the sight of this costume.
Your POV
I pulled out his costume, "We're going to be Dorothy and the Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz!" I squeal.

Ponyboy instantly laughed, and Johnny's cheeks turned red, out of embarrassment.
"Sweetie, do I have to go dressed up like that?" Johnny asked.
"Well you said, I could pick the costume, so uh, yeah you do." I say.
"Fine, Y/N. I'll only do it because I'm a man of my word." He said, and I clapped my hands together, "Great! Now go put this on, and then come back in here!"
Johnny's POV
I looked in the mirror and I looked like a dork. But whatever makes Y/N happy.
Your POV
Johnny walked out of the bathroom and I squealed, "Awe! Johnny! You look so cute!!" I say and kiss his nose. "Now time for the face paint!" I say and he sighs, and sits down.
After I finished his stuff, I got ready. "Ready to go boys?" I asked, and they both nodded. We were meeting the gang, at the park, and man, did Johnny look nervous.
We all got to the park, and Dallas started joking around, "Hey, man, where's Johnny?" He laughed.
"Oh shut it, Dal." Johnny said with a sigh.
"Leave him alone, Dally. I think he looks cute." I say, "What are you suppose to be?" I ask.
"Eh, just me." He said and sat down next to Johnny.
Johnny didn't look to happy, "Johnny you can go change if you want."I say and put my hand on his shoulder.
"No, it fine Y/N. Let's go trick-or-treating guys." He said, and we stood up, "Johnny do it with me."
"Do what?" He asked his cheeks turning red, and Dallas laughed, "Do it, Johnny!" I smacked Dallas' shoulder, "Not that, you moron."
I linked my arms with Johnny, "You know what were doing." I said.
"Do I have to?" He asked giving me a pouty lip.
"Yes."
"Fine."
We started skipping, and started to sing, "We're off to see the wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz." Let's just say that this costume was payback for throwing me in the pool this summer.
