I QUICKLY pick up the phone. "Hi, ma!" I chirp.

"Good morning, Mimi. How is it at Sophia's house?"

"Great, Sophia and I have been talking a lot lately, we've been catching up with each other-"

"Tell your mom I said hi!" Philip yells so that my mom could hear him.

I shake my head, "And Philip says hi."

My mom chuckles, "Tell him I said hello too. Oh my, you're probably getting ready for school right now, I should let you do your thing and we can talk later. Goodbye, Mimi!"

I frown, slowly stirring my now soggy cereal. "Okay, bye ma."

"Aw, don't be sad, please, we'll be there soon. I love you,"

"I love you too." I reply and she hangs up. I slip my phone in my pocket and finish my breakfast.

"Alright, alright the bus is here, now scram!" Sophia's dad pushes us out of the door and we run to our bus.

The doors open and Sophia and I try to look for seats. As usual, eyes were glued to Sophia but they were also looking at me?

"Isn't that the girl on Sophia's recent?" I hear one whisper.

"She's her cousin, you idiot. That girl is viral now." The person beside him answer.

I try to hide my smile and we find a seat. I lean my head against the window and plug my earphones and soon get lost in my own thoughts.

"See you later, Soph" I wave and head to my locker. Once again, all eyes were on me. It feels strange, but I shake it off.

As I open my locker, a group of girls come up to me.

"Are you the girl that face-planted in the sand?" The short one asks.

I tuck a piece of hair behind my ear, "Um, yeah?" It came out more of a question rather than an answer.

"Oh my gosh! You're like famous now. Two famous people in one school? Wow-" The bell cuts her off.

"Sorry, but I have to go. Bye?" I awkwardly wave and go towards my first period class.

"Don't kill me, but that was the most hilarious thing I've watched." My close friend, Violet, snorts.

I roll my eyes. "I know, I've heard 10 other people tell me during first period."

"Mrs. Pivao's class sucks," she groans. "All she does is read off the textbook and give stacks of work. Last week, she gave us 15 pages worth of questions based on one of Shakespeare's works."

I shrug, taking a bite of my lunch. "She's alright, if you get on her good side, that is."

"She hated me the second I stepped into that class, I didn't even do anything! I swear if I breathe she'll send me to the office." Violet throws her arms up in frustration.
