"ALRIGHT, I DIDN'T FAIL THIS YEAR!" I cheer, looking through my grades.

Sophia breathes out a sigh of relief. "I thought I failed Math -- thank goodness I passed with an 80."

"Got a 63 in science. Impressive!" Jake strokes his chin with his finger.

We walk around the school, talking about the memories we made this past year.

We stop by the stairwell and Jake takes a deep breath in. "Man, I'm sure not going to miss this weed-smelling stairwell."

We laugh and continue to walk around until we heard students start counting down until the final bell of the year rings.

"Ten!"

"Nine!"

"Eight!"

"Seven!"

"Six!"

"Five!"

"Four!"

"Three!"

"Two!"

"ONE!"

Papers were thrown in the air, and shouts and hollers filled the school. Students ran down the stairs and stormed out of the building, leaving the poor custodians to clean up the mess they left behind.

The three of us were pushed around the crowd and we found ourselves outside. We told Philip earlier that we wanted to walk home, since today is a beautiful day.

"Hey, let's go to the fro-yo shop to celebrate?" Jake suggests.

Sophia and I agree and we walk to the shop, instantly getting welcomed by the smell of sweet treat. I run over to the strawberry cheescake and fill it to the brim of my cup.

Sophia looks at my filled cup, "I see you've taken a liking for that."

I grin, "I really like it."

We pay and sit by the window, chatting up a storm.

"Did you guys finish packing? We're leaving early tomorrow." I ask, taking a huge chunk of my yogurt.

The twins nod. "I probably over packed, but it's better to be prepared than arrive empty handed." Jake explains.

Sophia furrows her eyebrows, "You packed bed sheets and five bags of hot cheetos -- I don't think we'll need those."

"Um, knowing you, you're ginger ass is going to eat all of the food so we're going to have to eat off of those." Jake retorts.

Sophia rolls her eyes and I chuckle at their silly quarrel. We exit the shop and head home, excited for the trip that will soon be one of the best summers I've had.
