[this is a long one sorry if it's boring at the beginning it's 2 am haha oops]

"HAVE FUN, GIRLS!" Philip says before driving off with Jake. Sophia and I wave until the vehicle is soon nowhere to be seen.

The restaurant is squeezed between two buildings, meaning Philip would have to parallel park if he were to drop us off directly, so he dropped us a few blocks away from it.

Sophia looks at the restaurant in the distance. "Looks pretty good." she grabs my hand and drags me to the entrance. "Now let's go! I can't wait any longer."

"Okay, okay," I huff out. We run for a bit more before I stop the both of us to catch my breath. "Look, I know you're really excited, but I haven't done any physical activity since gym class. Can we walk the rest of the way?"

"We'll speed walk?"

"Fine," I groan. We quickly scurry along the sidewalk and halt to a stop as soon as we see the entrance.

It was pretty large - a patio is at the front and the big sign flashed brightly. Warm light can be seen through the windows, silhouettes of servers juggling orders to tables. A hostess is at the front greeting customers, so Sophia and I walk over.

"Good evening and welcome, ladies!" she greets us with a warm smile. "Did you make a reservation or no?"

"Uh, yes. We're here under Andy Muschietti's name?" Sophia answers.

Her eyes perk up, "Muschietti? Oh! You're the kids from IT, yes? My daughter loves that movie."

"Oh, she was in the movie, not me." I chuckle. "She just brought me along."

"I see, I see. Please follow me."

The hostess leads us to a separate room from the other customers. The door had Andy's name on it and she opened it. A few people are already inside, some that I recognize.

"Enjoy!" she says, closing the door. Sophia runs over to a group of people and give them a hug. I realize I am now left alone and walk along the table to look for my name tag. Thank goodness it's beside Sophia's, otherwise I would've died having to sit beside a stranger and striking a conversation with them. I sit down and awkwardly look around. Everyone knew each other, and I looked like a sore thumb. Just as I was tempted to pull out my phone, a pair of hands grabbed my shoulder.

"Boo!"

My heart starts racing and I and turn around. "Jack! Hello!" I get up and give him a hug. "Please don't ever scare me like that again! My soul almost left my body."

He pulls back, "Oops, I was just really excited when I saw you."

I ruffle his hair, "Aw, you're so tiny!"

"Aw, stop! I know I am."

"That's why I'm your big brother." I wink.

Sophia comes over and gives Jack a hug. "Nice to see you again, Jack!"

"Good to see you too, Soph." Jack replies.

She looks at me, "One person down, five more to go!"

"I'm just glad that I at least know someone else besides you. It was really awkward sitting alone trying not to listen to other people's conversations." I pause. "When's Wyatt coming?"
