THE NEXT DAY, we all packed up our belongings and headed back to our hotels. The sleepover was only a warmup - we had the whole summer to spend.

"Jakeee," Sophia cooed, "we're back!"

"Damn, I was enjoying the room to myself." he huffed and fell dramatically into his bed. I sure missed that boy and his none sense. "I'm bored, you guys want to do something?"

I plop on the couch and start channel surfing. "I don't know," I reply. The Walking Dead comes on and I immediately stiffen up and watch the episode. "Actually, give me a minute. I'll finish this episode first."

"Wake me up when you're done, I'm going to nap." she buries herself under the covers. "Don't scream too loud."

"Can't promise anything." I reply. Luckily the show just started. I quickly run to the kitchen and grab a bag of Hot Cheetos and dash back to the couch. Jake decides to watch with me and we eat the chips together.

"I'm not crying, my eyes are just sweating." I whimper, fanning my eyes. Of course the episode had a sad scene.

"Nope. You're definitely crying." Jake laughs, taking a picture of me. "Nice. I'm gonna save this."

I roll my eyes and grab a tissue to wipe my tears away. We've been watching for the past 3 and a half hours and it was evening. Sophia's parents stopped by to drop off lunch earlier and the trash is littered across the table. "Let's clean up. I can't stand the smell any longer." picking up the styrofoam plates, I throw them away while Jake wipes the table clean.

"Oh! While you guys were gone, I went to the mall with Philip and I got these neat face masks." he rummages through his bag and pulls out colourful tubes and packets. "They were on sale. Wanna try them?"

"Hell yeah! Let's have a spa night." I squeal. I wake up Sophia, "Wanna try some face masks with us?"

She groggily gets up, her red hair disheveled. "Hm? Yeah, sure. What time is it?"

"Time to get up. Let's put them on!" Jake says, tossing a packet to her.

We all scramble to the bathroom and begin putting on our face masks. Jake is feeling adventurous and tries a magnetic face mask, while Sophia is still sleepy and lazily puts on a sheet mask. I pick up a random bottle that claims to be a clay mask and begin slathering it on my face.

Satisfied with how we look, we laugh at each other. "We look so hot." Jake laughs, taking a picture of us.

"I'm hungry. Let's go buy pizza." I say while walking towards the door and putting on my shoes.

"Mimi, I think you forgot we have our face masks still on." Sophia chuckles.

"I know. You coming?"

"Oh, you're serious." she says. "Well, I'm not letting you look like an idiot by yourself so I'll come."

Jake rummages through the fridge. "I feel like my mask is going to get attracted by the metal outside so I'll stay here."

"Suit yourself." I say. Grabbing my wallet, Sophia and I head out of the hotel and into the nearest pizza parlour. We were the only ones there since it is already 11 o'clock.

The cashier gives us weird looks, "Welcome to Jone's Pizzeria, what would you like to order..?"

I scan the menu. "Can we get the cheesy deluxe pizza? With extra cheese?"

"As well as two cans of root beer and a La Croix, please." Sophia adds. I look at her, "What? I need my La Croix."

"That'll be $12.50."

I give him the money and we sit by a table and wait for our order. "I'm bored. Take a picture of me." I give Sophia my phone. She snaps a few pictures of me while I lean against the wall and pose with a cheesy grin.

"Yes," Sophia shows me one of the pictures. "Post this one, it's cute."

I look at it and agree. "Thanks, Soph."

"Order 513!"

Sophia gets up and takes the boxes of delicious goodness. She points her head to the door and the two of us exit the shop. I get a whiff of the pizza, "That smells like grease and calories. Perfect for the night."

"Oh, you bet." Sophia chuckles, opening the top box to get a better look at the pizza. "Tonight, we feast!"

oh gosh this is a terrible chapter😍😍 sorry i haven't been feeling it lately the IT fandom has been dead :((
