I ALMOST cry at the sight in front of me, and I subconsciously grab Wyatt's hand. The girls around me start crying, though.

"Hello, welcome backstage!" Connor greets.

We all say hi back and he motions us to sit down by the very long purple sofa. Not a lot of people were here, so we all managed to fit. The band was sitting in front of us on another sofa. It feels really strange that in front of me are my idols and I'm sitting beside a boy that is confusing my feelings.

"So how are you all doing? You guys enjoyed the show?" James asks.

"Yeah, it was fantastic! You guys did amazing as usual." One of the girls replied.

They said thank you and we soon chat up a storm.

"And that's how we got stranded in the middle of a desert in Texas." Tristan concludes.

"That sounds terrifying." Elise mutters.

Brad chuckles, "Yup. We had to hitch a ride home and that's how we got our idea for our music video in Staying Up."

James looks around and clasps his hands. "Well it's time to wrap this up unfortunately because an unexpected event came up. How about we take those photos?"

This is what I was dying to do. We all gather together a s a group first to do a group photo. The four boys are in the front posing, resting their arms on fans' shoulders. Some girls were behind them, while Elise, Wyatt and I sat in front of the boys, Wyatt leaning his head on my shoulder. Workers from backstage had fans' phones to take pictures. We all smile and laugh while flashes are emitting in every corner.

After the group photo, there is a line for the individual photos and autographs. I grab Wyatt's hand and drag him to the line before it begins to pile up. I fumble through my bag where the boys' gifts are.

"My eyes hurt from all of the flashes." Wyatt laughs, rubbing his face.

"Don't worry, just one more and we can leave if you want, you look tired." I comfort, patting his cheek. He scrunches his nose and drinks a sip of water.

He looks at me and holds out his bottle, "You were screaming your heart out during the concert and your throat is probably sore by now. Want a sip?"

"Thanks, Wyatt." I say, taking the bottle and letting the coolness of the water soothe my throat.

Finally, it was our turn and the boys welcome me in a hug while Wyatt only shakes their hands.

"Hello again!" I giggle. I give each of them their gift which they got caught by surprise.

"Aw, a little monkey!" Brad exclaims, squishing the stuffed animal.

They say thank you and give me their autographs. I made sure to get an extra one for Jeremy. Once they finish signing, they ask what pose we're doing.

"Oh, I actually have no idea." I laugh nervously, mentally slapping myself for not knowing.

"That's okay, how about we all jump for the picture?" Connor suggests. I agree and we line up side by side ready to get the signal from the photographer.
