When All Fails

Chapter 4

"Ok here goes nothing" said joey his mom opened the door and him and his dad ran out the door. When they got out side they quickly turned right and ran down the street towards the grocery store. When they got to the first intersection of home lane and street street there where a ton of house bots. Joey slowly pulled out his gun but then his dad pushed down his hand and said "no we can't shoot it will attract them" "then what do we do" "I don't know let me think" said joeys dad. He stood there for a while then said "this May sound stupid but it may work" what" said joey. "We act like robots" said joeys dad. "Dad even I have a better idea than that" "fine than tell me" "ok see those electrical lines over there" "yep" said joey dad "we scoot behind them and if a robot comes after us we grab one and shock the robot whit it." "Um.... I'm suppressed I did not think about that" they slowly slipped behind the wires and sure enough a robot came towards them. Joey immediately picked up a wire boy the shock safe wrapping around the wire and when the robot came close enough to him joey put the wire into the robots neck. The robot sizzled, over heated, and fell to the ground.

Surprisingly non of the other robots noticed. Joey and his dad slowly sneaked of down the street away from the intersection.when they got to the next coroner something strange was going on, there were no robots. Joey looked around to see if the robots were hiding but he saw none all he saw was two human shaped things. Joey called out to them. "Hey are you human" they turned around ad saw them and called back to them "human" as they ran across the street towards Joey and his dad. "Are you guys heading towards the grocery store too?" Joeys dad asked "yep. My name is Sean and this is my son tom." Said the man. "Hi nice to meet you." said the boy. " my pleasure" joey said. They all quickly shook hands then continued towards the store. When they arrived there were tons of robots. Some by the entrance, some on the roof, and even some on the tops of cars. Sean quickly spotted an unguarded back gate. "My daughter used to work here this was the first place the robots raided she is gone now but defiantly in a better place. Anyways the employe entrance is back there I bet it is open all we have to do is hop the fence." "Good idea dad"said Tom. "Ok one three well go behind those bushes towards the fence and climb it as fast as possible." Said joey. "Ready" said joeys father. "Ready" replied everyone else. One....., two.......,three!
