Chapter 1- The Youth From Another World

On a forest with giant trees, a kid who looked no older than 10 years old was crouching behind a tree. Up ahead where the kid fixed his gaze upon was a rabbit, but this was no ordinary rabbit. It was big, over a meter in length. The rabbit also had red eyes and it was looking around like it was observing or looking for something.

'Gotcha.' The kid  behind the tree smiled and than quietly but quickly moved towards the rabbit who had its back turned towards him.

At about 2 meters away, the kid lunged at the rabbit while pointing his dagger towards it. The rabbit instantly died as the dagger pierced its body.

The kid pulled his dagger from the rabbit's body then picked it up, he then returned to the tree where he was hiding previously and picked up another two rabbits which he had killed earlier.

"Guess I'll go back." The kid muttered to himself.

He followed carvings on the trees which he makes every time he goes hunting to find his way back. At the end of the trail were two men waiting for him.

One of the men looked like he was in his late 20's with brown skin, long eyelashes, short curly black hair and a beard that has been trimmed cleanly. The other man looked older, about in his mid 60's with black skin and a short black hair with streaks of white signifying his age.

The two smiled as they saw the kid walking towards them.

"Looks like I win." The older looking man blurted out.

"I always lose but it's to be expected I guess, I don't think anyone would beat you at gambling old man." The younger one replied.

"What are you two talking about?" The kid arrived and asked them yet he already knew what was going on. 

These two men were the kid's uncles. The older one was called Oved and the younger one was Ivan. They weren't at all blood related but the kid grew up with them. They described themselves as his father's followers, although the kid didn't know why his father would have followers in the first place.

The kid went hunting everyday as part of his training that his father had instructed him to do. The two men always came with but didn't join in hunting as they said that it wouldn't be much training if they were there. 

They waited for the kid to come back everyday while also gambling on what and how many animals the kid would kill and catch.

"It's just this old man winning again." Oved replied to the kid's question.

"Let's go back before it gets dark." Ivan stated. The time was about 6 in the afternoon and the sun was about to set.

The three of them started walking back to their home.

"When am I going to be allowed to go anywhere else?" The kid suddenly asked. He had never gone anywhere else but in this forest with giant trees. In fact, their house was located inside the forest about just a little bit farther away from its entrance.

Both of the kid's uncles raised their brows when they heard the question.

"That's an interesting question, actually your father told us yesterday that the two of you would have an important conversation today. Who knows? Perhaps he would tell you that you would go somewhere soon." Ivan answered with a face that said 'I know something yet I'm not going to tell you'

The kid was suddenly excited about the thought of going somewhere else and finally exploring this world that he is in.

"I'm going to wash myself in the river first." The kid said as they arrived at their home. The river was only about 20 meters away from their home and they took a bath there everyday.

As the kid arrived at the narrow river, he took off his clothes and began splashing himself with water.

The kid looked at his small and thin looking body, then looked at his reflection in the water. He had a porcelain white skin, thin red lips, somewhat thick eyebrows, steel gray eyes with long eyelashes, and a short black hair.

He looked very different from his previous self and he wasn't very used to having this young body yet. In his past life, even though he died early, he already had a rather built body in his youth as he trained like a super soldier form a young age.

That's right, this kid is Kruv, the youth commander who had died in the war between the Taiyang and The Yueliang kingdom armies. 

When he died, he remembered there was darkness and then after some time, he had opened his eyes which shocked him as he knew he had already been a goner when that crazy lightning struck.

When he had opened his eyes, what he first saw was a woman, a very beautiful woman with pale skin,  dark eyes and long black hair that reached the waist. The woman had a smile splattered on her face as she looked gently at him.

He doesn't remember a lot about the woman but he knew she was there for at least until he was 3 years old and after that she was gone. He assumed that must have been his mother but he didn't know why she would suddenly get lost and he has never asked anyone about it either. He didn't build that many relationships with people in his past life yet he knew people were sensitive to those kind of things.

His spirit was of a youth yet the body and memory was that of a baby. He remembered that he was always sleepy in the first three years and he can't even remember that much. He wished he did remember better as he never had parents in his past life yet now he had but his mother was gone and he couldn't even remember that much about her.

When he was four years old, his memory got better. He started to wonder if what happened in what he considers as his past life was all a dream yet he erased that thought as which baby would have a very vivid and wild dream.

As he grew older, he realized that not only has he been reincarnated but also got transported to another world. What he knows is only a few things yet even that was enough to astonish him.

There were 5 continents from the book that he read, namely Dragon-Phoenix, Gentle Wind, Yin-Yang, Red Sand, and Rising Sun. Each continent are ruled by empires. There are 10 empires scattered all over the continents.

Kruv found out that they lived in the Gentle Wind continent where three empires ruled. The south and the west were ruled by the Tybur Empire, the north by the Achilles Empire, and the west by the Akron Empire. 

They lived in the vicinity of the Akron Empire.

Kruv also learned that in this world there are normal animals like the ones in his previous life yet there are also uncommon animals which gather this thing called "world energy" in their body which in turn makes them stronger. These are called Dark Beasts.

Those things are the few important and fascinating things that he has learned so far. He already loved this world. He felt excited at what's coming next.

Kruv looked at his reflection again and this time something made him back away.

He saw, in his eyes, a streak of blue lightning.
