Forbidden love (pernico fanfiction)

almost but not quiet

~Nico's P.O.V.~

I couldn't sleep. I had to many thoughts running through my head. I sat up on my bed and looked around my room. It didn't have very much in it just a bed, a desk covered with empty happy meal boxes, a table and a wardrobe. Everything was black, which made the room feel enclosed and dark. Just like me, so it was perfect.

I stood up and pulled on my avatar jacket, covering my bloodied and scratched arms. I walked towards the front door and stopped at the window, Percy was walking past. I hid behind the curtain and watched as he stopped in front of my door, as if to knock but he shook his head and carried on walking towards his cabin. I let out a breath that I didn't know I had been holding when he closed his door. I felt sick, I put my hand on my chest, my heart was beating faster then usual. Probably nothing.

I opened the door and stepped outside, the sun was setting and it would be dinner soon. I shut my door and started walking through camp. I saw Jason coming out of the infirmary and ran round the corner, I had to avoid him. I saw the Demeter girls growing some strawberries while the satyrs played music on their reed pipes. I walked past the stables and saw some Apollo kids staring at the Aphrodite girls, who were grooming the horses. I went to the beach, thinking it would be empty, but saw all the Hermes, Athena and Hecate kids messing around and splashing in the water. I sighed and went into the arena, Mrs O'Leary bounded up to me and was about to push me over but I threw one of her red rubber balls and she ran after it. I pulled out my sword and walked towards the dummies.

I was about to stab the first one when I heard Jason's voice "are you avoiding me?" he asked as I turned around "nope, why would I do that?"  I replied simply but i could feel my heart rate beginning to speed up.

"you know why" he said rolling his eyes.

I shrugged "if I knew why then I wouldn't be asking".

He smirked "ok" he took a deep breath "THAT YOU LO-" he was cut off because I jumped on him and he fell to the floor.

"what the hell Jason!" I said and he laughed.

"now you know what it is don't you".

I glared at him "very funny".
"erm..am I interrupting something?" I looked up and saw Frank staring down at us.

"Frank" Jason said smiling "no were we just training".

Frank looked between me and Jason, I blushed slightly at how close our bodies were. "erm yeah sure" Frank said and i heard Jason chuckle as he got off me and stood up, holding out his hand for me. I whacked it away and stood up, they both looked at me quizzically and I ran.

I didn't know where I was running to but the woods seemed isolated enough. I ran past the trees until I couldn't run no more. I stopped and sat down, leaning against a tree trunk. I closed my eyes, breathing heavily. By the time I had got my breath back it was dark, dinner would be soon. And right on queue the horn sounded signalling food. No one would care if I was late, so I stayed in the woods, looking up at the stars and thinking about one thing.. Percy.
