~Percy's P.O.V.~

I had been waiting in Nico's cabin for agers, just wondering around the place and taking in the scenery. it was all black and greys which was a little scary but I guess with him being a son of hades dark colours suit him. I imagined Nico walking around wearing pink and I laughed. It echoed through his cabin as if it had never heard a joyful laugh before. I sat on his bed and looked at his room. Pretty small and messy but it felt cosy as well, I lied down and understood why Nico missed breakfast nearly every morning this bed was so comfy. I'm being serious it felt like I was floating which was a little strange, I thought he would like to be closer to the ground... closer to his dad.

I was about to give up and leave when I heard footsteps outside his bedroom and I slid behind the door. I looked through the little gap and saw it was Nico, which made me relax. But only a little, what would he think of me in his cabin, or walking out of his bedroom for that matter? Actually he would probably kill me before I found out these answer anyway. He checked the whole place, (and his bedroom but he didn't see me) as if he knew that I was in here or checking the I wasn't. I saw him loosen a little as he came out of the last room, clearly relieved that no one was here and he walked back over to the front door. Now's my chance, I stepped out from behind the door and walked behind him. He closed the door "Nico..". He spun around and I took a step back while he glared at me "Percy..".

I looked at him for a minute and noticed that his eyes were lightly stained red, obviously he had been crying before he came to his cabin..was it about the kiss?. He looked murderous but I needed to talk to him, but he beat me to it "what in hades are you doing here?" he snarled, now he looked ready to kill me.

"I-I erm.."I stuttered and I could have sworn I saw him smile slightly " I wanted to talk to you". I don't know how I had missed this before but his sword that he was holding to my throat lowered a little

"Percy I'm really sorry" he said, and his voice scared me. It sounded so pained and helpless, I fought the urge to hug him and make him feel better and took a step towards him. "don't be sorry, I.. I kissed back" I said and didn't sound or feel any guilt. He looked at me and I saw a tear roll down his cheek, I engulfed him in a hug, which surprised him cause he tensed up and just sat there.

~Nico's P.O.V.~

Percy Jackson is in my cabin!

PERCY JACKSON is in my cabin, alone!!

PERCY JACKSON is in MY cabin, ALONE, at NIGHT!!!

PERCY JACKSON IS IN MY CABIN, ALONE, AT NIGHT, HUGGING ME!!!!

I didn't know why and I didn't know how but I was glad he was, even if I knew it was impossible for him to love me back, or even get slight feelings towards me.

I just sat there, shocked but that changed and soon we were on my bed, and I was sitting on his knee sobbing into his shirt. He smelt like the sea, in a definitely good way and it calmed me down but the question still nagged at my brain "what about Annabeth?".

Only a few seconds after did I realise that I had said it out loud. Percy seemed to think about my question and took a deep breath before answering "I..I don't feel the same way about us any more".Hope. that was the only emotion I was feeling when he said that.

"I love someone else" he continued. Crushed, heartbroken, shattered, depressed, angry. Those were the only feelings I had when he said that but before I could say anything he kissed me.

It wasn't as sloppy as out first kiss, it was more real, and I kissed back instantly. I pulled back for air and he rested his forehead on mine "its you neeks" he whispered.
