~Nico's P.O.V.~

"NICO WAIT!" Percy shouted but I was already one with the shadows. I landed in the woods and scared two nymphs who screamed and started throwing pinecones at me, so I ran. I didn't know where I was going, probably as far away as possible from Percy. Why did he torture me like that? kissing me back like it was the easiest thing in the world. What about Annabeth? Did he still love her? 'of course he does' said a raspy voice inside my head and I stopped. 'look at yourself. the orphan who no one loved or ever will love' I started pulling at my hair, wanting the voice to stop, I was sick of this now. Every time I got hopeful about me and Percy this voice would always make me doubt myself. 'the outcast who no one cares about' I slid to the ground, wrapping my arms around my knees. 'the mistake who everyone wishes was dead'. "SHUT UP!!" I screamed, tears now flowing down my face. I put my head in my hands and cried in misery, but the voice was right. No one loves me or cares about me, if I got killed they would all cheer at the mistake who was finally out of there lives.

~Jason's P.O.V.~

I was walking back to my cabin and saw piper running towards me, a smiled spread across my face but it vanished when i saw a worried look on her face. "Piper what's wrong?" I asked as she stopped in front of me. "N-Nico" she panted and I paled "what happened?, where is he?". She pointed to the woods "I heard a scream and went to see what it was. Nico was sitting against a tree.. crying" she said, sounding exhausted. I kissed her forehead "thanks, you can go back to your cabin" she looked ready to protest but smiled and walked of towards her cabin.

I wanted to run to the woods but people would think there was a problem and follow, and Nico would  hear me so I walked at a normal pace. I walked passed cabin three and saw Percy running towards the Hades cabin. Why was he looking for Nico? I watched as he banged on the door, but it didn't open. I could tell he was worried and I started to wonder what had happened between them. Had Nico told him?. I carried on walking to the woods and stopped when I saw Nico, his knees pulled up to his chest and a faint sound of sobbing. I approached slowly but he must of heard me because the next thing I knew I was on the ground with a sword to my throat.

"What do you want Grace?" he growled and I was surprised at his voice, he sounded..so broken and full of pain.

I took a few slow breaths, "I came to see if you were ok" I said gently.

He sheathed his sword and walked back over to the tree. "Nico, what happened?".

He stayed quiet for a long time, never looking up to meet my gaze. He took a deep breath "I-I..." He stopped himself, maybe debating wether or not he should tell me. I opened my mouth to coax him to continue but he finished his sentence "I kissed pe-" he voice cracked so he stopped again and I walked over to him "what did he do?" I asked, sitting next to him.

I was a little confused, if Percy pushed Nico away then why did he seem so worried about him?.

~Nico's P.O.V.~


I didn't want to be telling him this. Any of it. I didn't even want him to know about my 'little crush' on Percy in the first place, i have Eros to thank for that.  It was stupid of me to trust him..but..he's sorta the only person I can trust with this subject.

I took another deep breath "he..kissed back" I said quietly, and glanced up at Jason who seemed surprised at my answer "then why are you here?" he asked, clearly trying to put all the pieces together. "I pulled back and shadow travelled here", he nodded but didn't seem to be satisfied with my answer "but, why?". 'Because he loves Annabeth' the voice said again but I ignored it. "he's just confused, he's got Annabeth. He doesn't care about me".

"I saw him at your cabin before, he looked really worried". Now it was my turn to be surprised. Why was he at my cabin? "Nico he loves you" Jason said simply but I shook my head "why would he love me?, I'm a son of hades who pushes everyone away. No one loves me Jason and no one ever will"

He looked furious but stayed calm when he spoke "your wrong Nico, just go and speak to him". What else have I got to loose? He was probably going to tell everyone anyway so this was really the last chance I had to explain things to him.

I stood up and saw Jason smile, like he knew I would do what he said so I shadow travelled. The last thing I heard of Jason was "NO NICO!" then I was staring at my cabin. I was about to walk in when I noticed that my door was already open. I pulled out my sword and slowly entered my cabin. It was dark, as usual but it was a bit unnerving knowing that there was someone or something else inside with me. I checked the whole cabin and relaxed when I found no one and nothing out of place. I walked back to the front door and closed it.

"Nico.." said and all to familiar voice

I spun around and glared into his sea green eyes "Percy.."
