The first thing Lucy notices is that there were lots of long fur coats and then the coldness hit her. She fell to the ground, but got surprise when it was soft. Lucy looked around and realised everything was covered with snow. She had never seen such a beautiful sight and at the distance, she saw a lamp post in the middle of the forest.

As she was approaching the lamp post, she heard something behind her, but didn't give any importance. As she was admiring the fascinating forest, she hit someone.

-AAAUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!- Both screamed at what they had in front of them.

Lucy didn't know what that creature was, it was like a human, but his legs were like a goat. For some reason she wasn't afraid of him, so she approached to pick up some packages he had dropped because of the shock.

As Lucy was cautiously getting closer, he hid behind the lamp post afraid of her.

-Uh, CH... gk, ch- random noises escape the creature's mouth as Lucy handed him the packages.

-Were you hiding from me?- asked Lucy

-Huh, um, n... n... no, I... I... I didn't want to scare you- he replied stammering and unsure of why she had such confidence around him.

Lucy remained silent thinking and finally said politely -if you don't mind my asking...what are you?-, she had never seen someone like him.

-Why, I'm a faun! And you must be some beardless dwarf?- asked the faun not completely sure about what she was.

-I'm not a dwarf, I'm a girl! And actually i'm tallest in my class- replied Lucy proudly.

The faun's eyes grew wide as what the girl had just said.

-But you're saying, you're a daughter of Eve? asked the faun anxiously.

Lucy confused said -Well, my mum's name is Helen...-

-Yes, but you are, in fact, human- the faun pointed out

-Of course- replied Lucy

Seeing as that girl was alone in the middle of the forest, the faun asked curiously -What are you doing here?-

Lucy explained -Well I came through the wardrobe in the spare room, and-

-Spare Oom, is that i Narnia?- interrupted the faun

-Narnia? What's that?- asked Lucy confused. She's never heard that name before.

-My dear girl, you're in it! Everything from the lamp post, all the way to castle Cair Paravel on the Eastern Sea, every stick and stone, every icicle, is Narnia- the faun explained Lucy

-This is an awfully big wardrobe- Lucy said to herself amazed by that place called Narnia.

After all that time talking, the faun realised he didn't know her name.

-I'm sorry, please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Tumnus- the faun told her

-Glad to meet you, Mr Tumnus! I'm Lucy Pevensie- She introduced herself extending her hand. When she realised the faun didn't know what to do with her hand, she said -Oh, you shake it!-

-Why?- asked Mr Tumnus confused

Lucy replied smiling -I don't know! People do it when they meet each other-

Mr Tumnus had lost all the fear that he had before seeing as Lucy was only a little girl. He had never met someone like her before and was excited for having a new friend. For some reason Lucy, felt really comfortable in that place, though she didn't know why.

-Lucy Pevensie, from the shining city of War Drobe in the far land of Spare Oom, how would it be if you came and had tea with me?- suggested Mr Tumnus anxiously

-Oh! Well, thank you very much! But I probably should be getting back...- replied Lucy unsure.

-Oh, come on! It's not everyday I get to make a new friend! And there's a... roaring fire! And toast and cakes! And maybe... we'll even break into the sardines- tried Mr Tumnus to convince her.

-Well, maybe for just a little while... if you have... sardines- agreed Lucy

-By the bucket load, come along- replied Mr. Tumnus signaling her to follow him.
