The best part of my entire day is and always has been watching him laugh and joke around with my sister. His smile makes my day and although he always calls me grumpy, it makes me happy that he smiles at me every time he tells something funny. Lunch break is just the best part of my day, it makes all the hours we spend at school bearable.
Today he's a little bit quiet. I'm wondering what's on his mind. He looks like he's nervous and keeps whispering secretly with Izzy and Clary. Luckily Jace and Simon keeps talking to me about our plans for the weekend. It's my 18th birthday and although I hate celebrating birthdays, we have decided to do something fun this year.
No silly parties, with pinatas, cakes or ANYONE singing for me. Everyone agreed to go camping or "Glamping" as Magnus calls it. He's not a big fan of the outdoors, not if it means that he has to sleep on the ground or eat hotdogs on a stick.
The girls and Magnus has been planning our trip, where to spend the night, food, beverages and so on and Jace, Simon and I have agreed to plan the activities for the 3 days we're there.
"Hey, should we plan for some skinny dipping while we're there, Jace asked."
JACE!! Clary and Izzy yelled.
"I'm not sure the girls would agree to that kind of activity, Jace." Magnus laughed
*Angel... he has the most adorable laugh*
"But I'm in if you are?!" Magnus winked at me.
*Oh nooo, I could feel my entire body blushing. Stay calm Alec, stay calm. Breath!*
Jace and Simon collapsed in a laughing fit on the grass.
Since 2nd grade we all have spent our lunch breaks at the big oak tree at the school. It's our spot and somehow nobody has ever challenged us on that.
"No skinny dipping, Jace. But what else have you guys planned for us?" Izzy glared at Simon as he started grinning at Jace.
We all knew how in love Simon was with Izzy and how much he wanted to get closer to her. But he was so shy and had put her on a pedistal and was so freaked out about making a move on her.
"Well, we decided that Friday afternoon when we get there, we'll just get settled, have dinner and spend time at the bonfire. Saturday we are going canoeing and when we get home we will go to the lodge spa. I'm sure the girls will be sore from rowing when we come home.
"HEY!" The girls protested.
He giggled and continued.
Saturday night, we haven't planned anything because you told us you have something planned.
"We sure have..." The girls and Magnus looked at each other proudly.
"Sunday morning we decided to go to the beach at the lake, just to relax and enjoy the sun, before we drive home." Simon declared.
Jace winked at Clary. "Yeah I want to see Clary's new green bikini, that she's been telling me about."
Clary blushed, but smiled at him.
"Alexander, are you ok with all of this? It's your weekend." Magnus looked me deep in the eyes, while smiling he's cute big smile.
"Yeah, it's great. It's a bit of exploring, action, fun and relaxing time with you guys." I can't wait. But would you all promise me one thing?"
They all looked at him with big expecting eyes.
"I would really like for you all to have a great time. And although it's my birthday weekend. I'd like for all of you to enjoy it, and don't make a big fuss around me. That would really make me happy."
"Oh, Alec, Clay sniffled. You are so cute. You always think about our feelings. This time you will get everything you ask for. We promise."
"We promise!" all of the others said in a big choir.
They made me blush. I'm not used to having them all ganging up on me like this. I suddenly had the odd feeling that they had some big secret planned.
The bell went off and we all had to go back to class. Luckily the next class is gym, the only class I have together with Magnus. He hates gym, but we found out that he really likes to run, so we both signed up for track.
I now had 2 hours with Magnus alone. Running around the track chatting and challenging each other. It was heaven! *and I could watch him change in/out of his gym clothes, sigh*
I've never been brave enough to go into the showers with him. I always just went home after practice and showered. I'm sure I would completely embarrass myself if I saw him naked.
In the locker room Magnus came to my locker.
"So are you looking forward to the weekend?"
"Yeah, it's gonna be great. No silly parties with my family and no singing!"
Magnus leaned in and whispered into my ear: "Maybe I'll sing for you."
I couldn't breath. I could smell his amazing sent, his sweet breath on my cheek. It was almost as good as a birthday gift. I wanted to turn my head and kiss him hard and fast.
Magnus leaned back and smirked at me. It almost felt like he knew what I was fantasizing about.
I felt like I needed a cold shower already. I was so turned on.
"I...I... didn't know you could sing." I finally managed to stammer.
"Hmmm, you might find out......Maybe.." He said while winking at me, while walking out to the track.
