Protective Boyfriends

Magnus looked to sexy sitting there infront of me paddling. His hair was still damp from his "bath" and he had stripped his t-shirt because it was so nice and warm today and it was kind of a workout to paddly down the stream, there was a lot of currents to go through. I got kind of distracted by watching his strong back muscles work and only snapped out of it because I could hear a big splash.

"Oh hell", I could hear Izzy proclaim. She had falled into the water. I'm not sure why because the stream was kind of calm here.

Simon was working like a champ to get the canoe to her, to pick her up. He looked like a fierce beast. He wanted to prove to her, that he could be her protector. It was really sweet to watch someone else than me protecting her.

I had no idea he was actually this strong, he held the paddles between his knees, while Jace and Clary held the canoe still and then he picked her up by her hips and flipped her into the canoe. She looked kind of stunned by the whole ordeal as well and I could see her checking out his broad shoulders and if might say, without sounding creepy, very impressing muscletoned body and she looked ----- Proud! I think my little sister just lost her heart completely to Simon.

"You could just try to keep your hands to yourself sweet cheeks and not try to stand up in a canoe." Simon smiled lovingly at her.

We all laughed! Izzy looked kind of defieded because she was so wet, but then the fire came back in her eyes and she winked at Clary. She sat up and took off her now very wet shirt. Leaving her in her shorts and bikini top.

Simon looked like he lost all functioning braincells and was just staring at her.

"Now let's get this show on the road again shall we?" She smiles sweetly at him.

Poor guy, he was going to pay 'Izzy style' for the rest of the day. She will surely do her very best to look beyond sexy in that outfit sitting infront of him. He's going to suffer so bad. Good thing he's in cotton shorts and not jeans or he would for sure have blue balls by tonight.

I looked back at Magnus and he was kind of in deep thought and looked a little lost.

"Hey Mags are you okay there?" I asked. And then it dawned on me. Izzy had been in the water.
And without a word I started getting us closer to the shore. How stupid could I be. It was the only thing I had promised him. I'd keep him safe here in the water.

Although he was a bit paler than usual, he smiled thankfully at me. And he knew he didn't have to say anything. I would keep him safe.

For the rest of the morning we kept a bit closer to the shore and kept a playful banter between all of us. The girls were now laying down in the front, enjoying the sunshine. And the guys held the canoes steady in the stream.
Magnus took photoes of all of us and the places we pointed out.

Everything was so calm and nice.

"Let's stop over there at the little clearing and get some lunch" Izzy pointed out.

We all paddled over there and helped each other get the canoes up onto the bank.

It was really nice that we had sandwiches prepared and didn't have to set up a whole banquet this time. I was kind of tired. The sun and using my body like this all morning, combined with very little sleep, was getting to me.

After lunch we all just stayed there listening to some quiet music from Clary's phone, enjoying the sun. I guess I must have fallen asleep, because I woke up from something tickeling me on my face. I could hear Izzy giggling and opened my eyes.

We were alone.

"Where are the others?" I asked groggily

"We all fell asleep, but now they all had to pee and are all scattered in the woods to find some privacy to do their thing", Izzy smiled.

I sat up and jawned. "Oh man I needed that nap. It's hard getting older."

"Alexander?"

"Mhmm.."

"Are you and Magnus okay?

I smiled at her. "We are more than okay. He asked me to be his boyfriend last night."

Izzy tackled me hugging me fiercely. "I'm so happy for you. It's awesome you two got some time alone yesterday, so you could talk. Was he supriced that you liked him like that? Did you kiss already?"

I could feel myself starting to blush. This felt almost to private to discuss, even with Izzy.

"He had no idea I liked him at all, other than being his friend and he told me he had liked me for years and didn't want to act on it to presure me or our friendship. And yes we kissed. Otherwise it would be kind of odd to call  him my boyfriend already, wouldn't it?

Izzy he's such a great guy and so thoughtfull."

"I know dummy! Otherwise I would never let him within 50 feet of you." She smiles at me with tears in her eyes.

"How about you and Simon. It looks like you have something going there. Do you like him?"

She gave a happy sigh. "Alec, he's so sweet and treats me like a princess. It's almost to cute. But the way he saved me earlier." Sigh....

"Yeah, I could see it in your eyes. You looked at him like you saw him for the first time."

"Yes exactly! I had no idea he could be so manly. No that's the wrong word. He looked like he would go to the end of the world and do anything to keep me safe. It made me feel safe and loved in a way I have never been before. I think I'm...... Alec is it to soon to say that... that I... I think I'm falling in love with him."

"Izz, no it's not. You've known and liked him for years and we all know he is crazy about you. Just go whole hearted into this. Claim him for yourself. I'm more than sure, that he will make damn sure that you will feel loved for ever. Simon is that kind of guy. And he know's I'll kick his ass if he ever hurts you."

"Thank you Alec." Izz said quietly.

We could hear the rest of the gang coming back. They were laughing and singing "Tigers, Lions and Bears!" Magnus looked well rested and tanned.

"Morning Archerboy. Are you ready for our training session? I found the perfect spot for us." Magnus pulled me up.

"Yes, I'm more than ready. Let's go." I took his hand and we walked off into the forrest.
