Luckily Izzy did well.

She dressed me in a white V-neck t-shirt, black jeans ripped at the knees, my black laced up biker boots and I could wear my black leather jacket.
She styled my hair like "bed hair" she called it. I'm not sure it looks sexy, but it makes me feel relaxed and myself, but in a new and exciting way.

Mom looked at me with a smirk when we came down stairs.

"Nice of you to let Izzy play before school" she giggled.

"Hey!" Izzy protested, but laughed.

"I've made you chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. Eat up and get ready. I'm sure Jace will be here in less than 30 minutes to pick you up."

I kissed her cheek and made my way to the table.

Jace looked at me with a smirk. "Trying to impress anyone today? You look nice dude."

"Nah, just trying something new. But thanks for patting my ego Jace."

Jace looked at me with big eyes. Normally I would just look at him strangely, when I had let Izzy style me or come up with an excuse. This already made me feel more like the real me, more powerful.

When we arrived at school, we parked like we always did and walked up to the oak, to meet up with Simon, Clary and Magnus.

I could see Simon teasing Clary with something and Magnus laughing at them.
Clary stopped swatting at Simon and looked up. She had a huge smile on her face and said something to the others.
Magnus turned at looked like he completely lost function of all his facely muscles. His jaw dropped and he checked me out from my boots to my hair and down again.
It gave me an extra spring in my step and Izzy whispered "Shake that ass big bro, it's now or never. Let him dream about this tonight."

Luckily Jace was already way ahead of us and didn't hear anything. And instead of turning red, like I normally would, I took her advice and gave Magnus a huge smile, straightened my spine and walked directly at him. 

"Morning guys! Ready for today? Only 2 more days to go before our trip. I can't wait.
Did you hear about the amazing present Magnus gave me yesterday? It's going to be so awesome to try it out in the forrest."

Magnus looked like he'd lost every available brain cell and just stared at me.

Simon smiled and him and Jace walked next to me into class, while talking about all the fun we were going to have.
I looked back at Izzy, Clary and Magnus walking behind me. Izzy gave me a smile, winked and played with her earing.
I made her proud and myself too.

This was going to be a fun day. I could feel it.

We all met up for lunch at the big oak and while sitting on the grass we bantered about Mr. Carstairs and how much the girls always drooled in his class. He was a nice looking man and kind and very funny too, but I'd never told anybody about my thoughts. It wasn't a thing guys talked about.

Clary was beet red in her face and it looked really funny with her red hair and Jace teased her about it, while giving her a little sideways hug.
Those two had a huge crush on each other, but I guess both were to shy to do anything about it.
Maybe I should talk to Izzy about it later, to help those two and give them the last push. They could be a great couple.

Magnus sat across from me and he had the huggest grin on his face. He looked at me and gave a nod sideways. He wanted to talk in private with me.

We walked to the bench next to the sidewalk across from our tree.

"Hey, I could see you noticed the hug Jace gave Clary. And I think we were thinking the same thing.
I talked to Izzy about this last week. Are you in on a little plan to get those two to hook up this weekend?" Magnus said.

"Yeah, I would love to. But only if you help me to hook Simon and Izzy up as well. He's so into her it's annoying to keep watching him make a fool of himself. She likes him so much and finds all his geekyness adorable."

"Yeah, lets talk tonight on the phone and come up with a plan, and then I'll fill Izzy in on it later on. Do you......."

"Awwww look at the lovey dovey couple an the kissing bench, aren't they the cuuuuuutest..." Sebastian walked by with his jock friends, looking at me and Magnus.
Magnus looked completely stunned and mad as hell. I stood up and looked across the lawn at Izzy. She played with her earings. This was my shot to stand up for myself and also for Magnus.

"Awww look at little mister archer, or should I call you cupid? Want to say something Alexaaaaander?" Sebastian teased.

I felt like punching him, but I knew that wasn't my style. In stead I turned around stretched out me arm and took Magnus'hand in mine. He stood up. I looked back at Sebastian and said.

"If you are a homophobe that's your issue, not mine." I turned around winked at Magnus and we walked hand in hand over to the others on the lawn and sat down.

They all laughed so hard and Jace patted my back.
"Awesome come back Bro", Jace said and Simon gave my shoulder a slap. "Yeah, you should have seen his face and his friends, ha! they completely dropped their jaws.

Izzy and Clary hugged me and Izzy even whispered. "That was an A+ big brother".

Magnus and I didn't hold hands anymore, but he had kept his hand right next to mine on the carpet and his pinky was from time to time stroaking over mine.
I don't think anyone other than Izzy noticed, but I sure did although I didn't act on it. My heart was hammering and I had never in my life felt so alive, happy, proud of myself and powerful.
