You never really had any friends. You were usually found alone at lunch in high school, but then someone changed you. (b/n), your best friend was brave enough to talk to you one day. Now you two continue to talk to each other even after you both graduated from high school.
Right now both of you are in your sophomore year of college, but you also own a coffee shop that you run by yourself because you moved away from your parents and also because you don't have enough money to pay workers.
The nice thing about your coffee shop is that it also has a room above it, so you don't have to pay two separate bills for an apartment and a coffee shop. The coffee shop is also only a little bit away from your college campus, so you can walk to all of your classes and you get a lot of college students coming to the shop on a daily basis.
The shop was open whenever you were in it which was most of the afternoon and a little bit in the mornings. Sometimes, you even invited (b/n) to help you in the coffee shop, for free of course.
Your day was basically the same every day. 7am, do any extra homework from the night before. 8am, open the shop for a few hours. 10am, close the shop, go to classes. 2pm, come home. Open the shop until 8pm, close the shop, do homework. 10pm, go to bed. Except on Saturdays and Sundays, on those days. 7am, open the shop. 10pm, close the shop, go to sleep. That was it everyday, but one day, everything changed (when the fire nation attacked. Sorry, I'm weird, but I love you if you understand the reference).
One day, your world turned upside down because of one person. This person helped you find love and live happy, for a while at least.
