A/N: Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I've been busy with school and I've been taking a writing class to improve my writing skills. If my writing seems to be different or off, that's why. Anyway, I've taken enough of your time, so enjoy the new chapter!
You could barely sleep last night because of all the random thoughts running around in your head. You were scared. What if you didn't see Seungjun in the morning? What would you do? Your life would go back to being normal and boring. Seungjun had at least brought some fun and excitement to your life.
After about 30 minutes of just laying in your bed, trying to sleep, while your brain went wild, you were finally gifted with some sleep. It was nice to rest your thoughts and get some rest for the next day.
*time skip to after your sleep*
You woke up early in the morning. It was way earlier than you would usually get up, so you were a little tired, but you dragged yourself out of bed anyway. You knew you weren't going to be able to go back to sleep after you had already woken up, so you might as well just get ready for the day.
Today was Sunday, so you didn't have classes, but you did have the shop to run. You might ask Nathan or Noah to help out today, if Ethan had to leave early again.
You'd have to worry about that later because right now, all you really wanted to do was go check on Seungjun and see if you could still see him.
You quickly, but tiredly, opened the door to your room and looked at the couch.
He was gone.
Your eyes widened and you gasped.
He really was gone.
You checked into the bathroom. He wasn't there. You checked the room that he had died in. He wasn't there. You ran downstairs. He wasn't there. You checked the storage room in the shop, which you barely went into. He wasn't there.
You couldn't believe it.
You sat down at one of the tables in the shop. You placed your face in the palms of your hands. You wanted him to be here.
No.
You needed him to be here.
You couldn't stand the silence.
That's when you heard to bell signaling that the door had been opened. You lifted your head slightly out of your hands to see who it was.
You instantly recognized the tall figure.
"Seungjun!" you exclaimed as you practically jumped out of your chair and hugged him.
"Shh," Seungjun shushed you, "you're going to wake her."
"What?" you asked, pulling away from the hug.
"Look," he showed you what was in his arms. It was a sleeping little kitten. "She was meowing early this morning, so I went to investigate. She must have gotten separated from her mother."
"She's so cute," you whispered as you pet her softly on her head. "Why did you bring her in here?"
"Well, I was wondering if we could keep her," Seungjun answered, "you know, as like a coffee shop pet or something."
"Of course we can keep her," you said. "It's a great idea to have her as a coffee shop pet. I'm sure people will love her."
"Speaking of people," Seungjun started, "you should probably start opening up shop soon."
"You're right," I agreed.
"I'm going to go put her upstairs to sleep," Seungjun said as he started to heading for the stairs.
"Oh, Seungjun," I burst out.
"Yeah?" he wondered as he turned around and paused his trip to the stairs.
"I'm... uh... I'm glad that you're here," I said hesitantly.
"Me too," he said before he turned his back once again and started walking up the stairs.
He isn't gone...
Yet...
