"Why would I ever want to leave you?" you asked Seungjun after what he had just said.

"What do you mean by that?" Seungjun asked in response.

"I mean, I don't want to leave you. I don't want you to be left alone," you answered.

"But I already said that everyone falls in love, no matter how much they try to stop themselves," Seungjun said.

"But I promise, I will never fall in love with anyone if it means that I have to leave you on your own," you promised.

"Never?" Seungjun asked.

"I promise," you repeated, holding out a pinky.

Seungjun stuck out his pinky, wrapping it around yours and shaking it. "Thank you," he smiled, "I'm really glad that I met you."

"Me too," you said returning the smile, finally letting go of his pinky.

"You know," Seungjun started, "I read a book once that said if you broke a pinky promise, then you had to cut of your pinky."

"Well then, I'll just have to keep my promise," you assured him.

*Time skip to the next morning*

You got up at the usual time, getting your clothes on and heading downstairs to open up shop. Like usual, when you got to the door, there were several students waiting at the tables and chairs outside. As soon as you opened up the door to your shop, some of the students looked up and smiled, standing up from their chair or table. You smiled knowing that your coffee made people's day, even just opening up the doors in the morning made people smile. "Good morning everyone," you said cheerfully.

Just like always, you got some, "Good mornings," and, "Morning (y/n)," in response as some people starting walking inside.

You walked behind the counter and started taking people's orders. As you were talking orders, you saw Seungjun walk down the stairs. He flashed you a quick smile before he headed into the kitchen in the back to start helping you out with the orders.

You had been open for about 15 minutes before you noticed the top of someone's strawberry blonde hair. You didn't even have to see their face and you already knew that it was Nathan. When he finally got up to you and smiled.

"Good morning (y/n)," Nathan greeted.

"Morning," you replied,

"I've noticed that you have had some help back there with you," he said.

"Yeah," you said, "have you met him before?"

"No, I just saw him working back there," Nathan said, "by the way, I'll take a caramel latte."

"Okay, one caramel latte coming right up," you responded, "if you want, I can go get him and introduce you two."

"That would be great," he said, "I need to make more friends out here."

"Alrighty then, I'll go get him," you said heading behind a wall into the kitchen, leaving Nathan standing there waiting.

         *Nathan's POV*

I saw (y/n) walk behind the kitchen and then I heard her talking to someone. I didn't hear their entire conversation, but I heard a few things like, "...Friend...Caramel latte...He can see too...Meet him...Alright..."

I tried to put it all the words together, but they didn't really make any sense, well actually they all made sense except for the, "...He can see too..." What did that even mean? Of course I can see, I'm not blind. Wait, what if that had a greater meaning than just not being blind.

         *Back to normal POV*

You got Seungjun to agree to go meet Nathan because apparently, Nathan wasn't in love with anyone either and could see Seungjun.

Once the caramel latte that he had ordered was ready, you brought it out with Seungjun walking out behind you.

As you walked out, you noticed that Nathan's eyes were on Seungjun as he walked out, but Nathan wasn't the only one, Seungjun was eying Nathan with the same look.

"Nathan, this is Seungjun. Seungjun, this is Nathan," you introduced them.

"Nice to meet you Seungjun," Nathan said extending his hand towards Seungjun.

"You too Nathan," Seungjun said taking his hand and shaking it.

"So, are you two dating or something," Nathan asked, letting go of Seungjun's hand and a hint of jealousy in his voice.

"Oh, no," you said shaking your head, "just friends."

Seungjun nodded, agreeing with you, "Just really good friends."

"I see," Nathan said, "so, how long have you guys been friends?"

"A few days," you answered, "I've known him for just a little longer than I've known you."

"Really?" Nathan seemed shocked that you had only known each other for a little while.

"Yeah, I met him one day at the shop," you said, "he didn't leave until after closing time. I guess he had something troubling him. After I learned that he used to run a coffee shop as well, but he went bankrupt and didn't have a place to stay, I offered him a job and a place to stay."

"Is that so," Nathan said, the hint of jealousy poisoning his voice again.

"I guess it is," Seungjun said, "it just feels like I've known you for so long."

"Yeah, it really does," you agreed.

"Well, I should really be going now," Nathan said.

"Yeah," you said, "here you go." You handed him his caramel latte, "$7.03."

"Thank you," he said handing you the money.

"Your welcome," you smiled.

He smiled in return, "See you around."

"See ya," you waved.

He turned around and waved back.

Such a strange man, always leaving straight after he gets his coffee. If we wants to meet knew people, you should probably stay longer, you thought as you saw him leave, whatever. "Next," you said, "sorry to keep you waiting."

"No, I'm the one sorry for keeping you waiting," they said.

You suddenly looked up, shocked and confused by their response. He was average height and had brown hair with dark brown eyes that looked like they were staring into your soul. He also had a light dusting of freckles on his cheeks and nose. That's when his voice hit you. It's one that you hadn't heard in a while. "It's nice to see you too, Noah," you said.

"I was told that I could find you here, (y/n)," he said, "I told you that I would see you again."

"And you kept your promise," you smiled remembering the promise he made to you when you were younger that one day he would see you again, even though he was moving away.

"I never forget the promise," he smiled as well, "never."
