You look up to the sky
And begin to cry
Asking over and over why
Why do you even try?
Why do you fight
When there's no light
In this seemingly endless night?
When that flame so bright,
That was such a sight,
Suddenly died?
Those tears, don't let them hide
Show them to the world
Let your wings unfurl
You didn't fly all the way here
To bow down to fear
So don't back out now
Even if you don't know how,
Fly to your dreams
It's okay to trip, weep, and scream
Just remember
Never stop, just walk
And if you can't walk, then crawl
