I've had that dream for so long
Running thousands of miles without a pause
But this is all wrong
Stop, this isn't what a dream is suppose to cause
Crying along, hurting all alone
Stop, don't run on broken bones
Don't rip your tattered heart
Don't go breaking into shards
It's okay to be happy, it's okay to take a break |
Dreams aren't worth it if you'd rather be awake.
