They call you weird
But they don't understand
How you calmed my fears
How you gave me your hand
And put me back on my feet
How you taught me to fly
And helped me realize I'm not that weak
That only I decide how high
Will my dreams be
And I am my only enemy
How you held me in those dark days
And led me back to my original way
How you said to stop chickening out
'They're your dreams, don't let them wander about'
Every time I break down, you're there
Singing my pain, in your voice so sweet and fair
And for once I can say
I didn't make a mistake
Joining this happy mess of a family
Maybe it's not perfect, but to me
I can say I'm learning to love myself finally.
You're my star in this dark night
To my international family, to my idols, I can't express the love and eternal gratitude I feel towards you~ Thank you for soothing the pain and give me a purpose to fight for.
