Chapter 9

Lacey's POV

Something is up, and I want to know what it is.

Harry is hiding something from me. I just know it.

I know when Chloe lies to me, and she has been.

Harry will barely even speak to me anymore.

It's been two weeks since I tried to get him to tell me what he wanted for Christmas.

Christmas is tomorrow and I feel hopeless.

I feel like everyone is avoiding me.

I feel completely alone.

The only person who actually talks to me is Darcy, and all she says is 'mommy' or 'ba-ba' or some mumbling I can't understand.

Today is Christmas.

Chloe insisted that I go with her to her doctors appointment.

She's been throwing up a lot and her stomach has been hurting.

She's also been making Zayn bring her seafood.

After we get to the doctors office and wait like 3 hours to go back, and they take multiple blood tests the doctor walks in.

"Well Miss Brooks," the doctor started with a smile spreading on her face "congratulations, your pregnant."

My eyes widen in shock and my mouth suddenly goes dry as I turn to Chloe

"What?" she simply asks

"Your pregnant, Chloe!" I say a smile appearing on my face "your fucking pregnant!"

"Can we have a moment alone please!" Chloe says to the doctor

She nods and leaves the room, shutting the door behind her leaving Chloe an I alone

"Oh my god" I smile jumping to hug her

When I go to wrap my arms around her she flinches away as tears rush down her face

"Shh Chlo it'll be okay, you and Zayn are gonna be parents!" I smile

"No Lacey you don't get it."

"What?"

Chloe takes in a deep breath and more tears flow down her cheeks

"The baby isn't Zayns!"

My eyes widen once again

"W-who's is it?" I croak out

Chloe turns her head and closes her eyes tightly letting more tears flow and she sighs

"It's-" she began crying more

"Lacey, the baby is Harry's."
