Chapter 14

Lacey's POV

I sat looking at the clock in the doctors office for about 20 minutes before they called Chloe back,

Chloe got home yesterday and she wanted to figure out if she was pregnant asap.

even if she isn't pregnant she's going to have to tell Zayn the truth,

they've been together for almost 3 years, you can't keep something so big a secret.

Chloe already explained to me how she didn't mean to sleep with Luke and how she was completely and utterly in love with Zayn,

she said she was wasted and it just happened, but she thought of Zayn the entire time,

after another 20 minutes passed Chloe walked out,

my heart sunk at the sight of tears streaming down her face.

"Lace," she cried lightly with a smile on her face,

"what is it?" I ask

"I'm pregnant," she says before coming closer and hugging me tightly,

"I'm pregnant, with Zayns baby!" she smiles widely

a smile appears on my face as I hug her tightly,

"oh my god!" I smile "we have to tell everyone!"

"i called dad when the doctor told me," she smiled

"let's go home and tell Zayn! oh god he's gonna be so thrilled! Darcy's gonna have a best friend!" I smile

"oh my god I'm so happy it's Zayns," she sighed happily

"you know you have to tell him," I warn

"I will, but I don't want to ruin the news of the baby, so can't it wait a little while?" she whines

"Chloe," I say sternly

"I'll tell him! just not for a little while, okay!"

"and you can't ignore Luke forever,"

"I know, I know!"

"okay, let's go home"

"Hey, hey hey!" I say happily when I open the door to the flat,

"hey babe," Harry smiled pecking me on the cheek

I smile at his sweet gesture,

as I walk further into the apartment I see all of the 5sos boys are over,

"Hey guys!" I greet and have them all reply with 'hi' in unison,

"Hey guys," Chloe said shyly walking into the room

"hey baby," Zayn smiled at her

her eyes locked with Luke's and I almost saw a hint of sadness in them,

"I have to tell you guys something," she started

"don't tell me you need butt plugs because Ash will just knock them in the toilet," Zayn said and Chloe looked confused

"he means tampons," I say

"oh, well in that case," she said taking a deep breath "I won't be needing any of those for about 9 months,"

"why not?" Michael asked confused

"you don't get your period when your pregnant," I interject while smiling widely,

"y-your" Zayn started looking at Chloe with wide eyes and he was pale as a ghost,

"yeah," Chloe whispered smiling

Zayn quickly stood up from his chair and ran over picking Chloe up and hugging her tightly,

Harry looked as if he was about to drop Darcy, and all of the boys looked shocked,

Luke looked as if he were about to throw up,

"Luke can I talk to you for a second?" I ask and he nods following me outside

"you okay?" I ask

"uhm, yeah" he said and fake smiled,

"listen, I know what happened between you and Chloe and-" I start but Luke interrupts

"wait, she told you?" he asks shocked

"yeah?"

"so she told you that we didn't actually sleep together?" he questions

"wait ... what are you talking about?" I respond confused

"Chloe and I never had sex," he said

"then why did she say you did?" I ask

"she knew she was pregnant with Zayns baby, she has to be about 6 weeks along already, but she called me freaking out when she found out. She found out when she went on her trip, she said I was the only person she could call because she didn't want anyone to know, so we came up with the plan to say we slept together so you would take her to the doctors" Luke said

"what? that makes no sense! and I would have taken her to the doctors anyway!" I almost yelled

"I don't know, I just agreed because she was so upset," he sighed

"so you didn't put your penis in my best friend?" I ask

"what! no!" he says turning as red as a tomato

"why did you blush the other day when Zayn was talking about her?"

"because I knew you were looking at me and it kinda creeped me out," he sighed

"and just a second ago, you looked like you wanted to puke,"

"I thought Zayn was going to leave her."

"why would he do that?" I ask

"I don't know but I just did, we should get back in there before they start getting suspicious" he said

I silently agreed and walked inside.
