Chapter 22: Jessica

"Wake up! Wake up!" Rachael screams while jumping on my bed. I groan in response. "We only have two hours to get you ready Jess! Get up!" She continues to yell until I sit up and get out of bed. "Finally" she grumbles. "Now go and shower" she points the the hallway. I roll my eyes and head to the bathroom with no argument. 

Rachael has been big help getting all the details for the wedding sorted. I take twenty minute shower, trying to wake up. Luckily Ben and Mattie are taking care of Nala while I get ready. Rachael is my bridesmaid. Mattie is the groomsmen. 

Wrapped in a towel I head back into my room to be dragged to the bed to sit by Belle. "Let me do your hair and makeup" Belle says as she pulls out the tools. "No plastering" Rachael smirks. "Ha ha" Belle says as she rolls her eyes at the comment. I sat there for another hour before Belle decided she was done. "Go take a look in the bathroom" she says. I head back down the hall to the bathroom. When I look in the mirror I barely recognize myself. Belle did light makeup like Rachael told her to. It was a very natural look. My hair was in a low bun with curled pieces surrounding my face. It is better then I could ever imagine. 

"Hey Jessica, I have these I can put in the bun part" Belle walks in with floral pieces. "Yeah that would complete the look" I tell her. She stands behind me adding the floral piece, using bobby pins to keep it in place. "Okay, we have to hurry and get your wedding dress on. We have like fifteen minutes" she says leading back into the bedroom.

I slip in the dress and Belle buttons the back of the dress.  It fit perfectly to my body. "Everyone decent" I hear Mattie saw from the doorway with Nala. I turn to see him covering his eyes. "Yeah we are good" I laugh. He lowers his hand, "Its time ladies. Jessica you look amazing." Belle rolls her eyes, "we know we have been keeping track." Matt glares at her. Rachael claps her hands, "Knock it off you too. Lets head down stairs."

We make it down stairs and Mattie goes out the back door to tell them we are ready. When he gets back he takes Rachael's arm in hers. Nala is being held by Belle as she will drop the flowers down the isle. Mattie and Rachael go first. After a minute Belle carries Belle out. I count to a minute as told then take a deep breath. This is it! I head through the back door.

As I made my way down the isle every ones eyes were on me, so it was very nerve racking, but when my eyes laid on Ben. Its all I thought about. His eyes were filled with tears and he was watching my every move. I smiled and when I reached the end of the isle he took my hands in his. 

The ceremony went fast, because before I knew it the pastor said 'you may kiss the bride'. Ben wrapped his arms around me and gave me a passionate kiss, which I immediately replied. Whistling and howling broke our kiss apart. My face flushed remembering all those that are here watching us.

Belle brought Nala to us and then left with the group to the reception area that the boys set up. The hired photographer, Jonas, started doing our pictures with Nala and without. Rachael stood near by to hold Nala when we did a few without her. Once he claimed he had enough photos he left to begin talking pictures of the guests in the reception area.

Rachael walked away with Nala. "You look stunning" Ben says wrapping his arms around my waist. "You don't look to bad yourself" I smirk. "I wish I could just sweep you away and have you to myself now" he says between the kisses he placed along my neck. "We should at least stay down for an hour Ben" I tell him with my hands placed on his arms. He grunts in disagreement. "Come on" I pull away from him but take his hand in mine leading him to the tent. 

"The boys have out done them selves" I tell Ben as I look around at the decor. "You deserved it" Mattie said as he walked up. I gave him a hug. I heard a growl from Ben. "Behave" I playfully slap Ben's chest. Mattie just laughs, "Already over protective of the wife." 

We spent the next four hours enjoying the company of the friends and family before Ben finally convinced me to leave. Belle and Mattie are going to be staying at the house with Nala while Ben takes me to a hotel for the night. We won't be able to go on a honeymoon since Ben could be called for deployment anytime starting tomorrow. He promised that he will figure a way to give me a honeymoon I deserve. Im just happy we get to spend some time together before he leaves. Yesterday Ben and I took Nala to build a bear workshop and then chuckie cheese. Nala had a blast and bonded with Ben. We are both defiantly going to be hurt when he leaves.
